  2. Change of project to narrow body means I have a lovely, high quality pair of unused black leather-faced seats (black vinyl backs) with harness slots to fit WIDE-bodied Westy. Please note they will NOT fit narrow bodied cars! Custom-made Intatrim 'Odyssey' style, GRP shell with diamond stitched back and seat, together with black Alcantara 'tear drop' inserts sewn into the inside of the side bolsters, to fit standard width wide-body cockpit. Immaculate condition in original box. Very comfortable. Photos show placement (not fixed) in my SEiW for demo purposes only (seat harnesses not included in sale!) Set of adjustable seat runners to fit these seats available by separate negotiation. Postage not included. For guidance Parcelforce 48 courier UK mainland will cost approximately £50 to £60, but I can provide a detailed price upon request. Or collect after lockdown (North Devon). Price: £750.00 which represents a significant saving on the original cost. Please check your measurements carefully! My SEiW measures 420mm width driver side along the chassis rail at the front of the seat from tunnel side to opposite interior panel and 405mm at the same point on the passenger side. This includes allowing for the thickness of the carpet stuck to the gearbox tunnel. Please pm any questions. Thank you!

  4. £6,950 ovno MOT (No advisories), oil, filter & brake fluid change all completed on 21st June 2020. I purchased this car in 2015 and it has only ever been used occasionally (~1,000 miles, it is vehicle number 4 of mine) in good weather conditions and never seen a track. I bought this as a weekend toy, but two small children and other hobbies (motorbikes & cycling) has meant that it doesn’t get used much more than to keeping it running. With that said, every time I have used it I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It will be a shame to see it go, but the lack of use just doesn’t justify keeping it. The car is in good condition and has always run well for me, pulling cleanly in all gears with good brakes, tyres & tread depth and comes with two sets of keys. The battery is on a trickle charger and the car Is garaged. The car has benefited from the oil, filter and brake fluid all being changed on 20th June 2020, along with a new MOT running to June 2021 (no advisories). Wheels, tyres and suspension are all in good condition. There are a couple of areas I would tidy up if I was keeping the car (nothing that stops the car from being enjoyed now): • Fit new service kit for the Weber carbs (I have the kit ready to fit) • There is some very slight discolouration in very small areas of the paint due to a tyre sealant can that leaked (behind the passenger seat) • Replace the front left suspension gaiter The car was built in 2001 with the following spec; • Fully reconditioned 2.0 ltr Ford Pinto with Twin 40 Weber Carbs and a Piper cam. • Fully reconditioned type 9, 5 speed gearbox with new clutch • Reconditioned live back axle with all new nylon bushed just fitted on the links • V8 bonnet option which looks amazing, and also offers the ducted noise options which provides better radiator cooling. • Rear boot compartment with cover • Black pack – including headlights, roll bar, screen mounts etc. all factory powder coated black • New discs and pads • New full set of carpet and trim, all genuine with fully adjustable Corbeau leather bucket seats (standard seat belts) • Leather cover for the book and full Tonneau cover that fully covers the boot and driving compartment (it also sits down the centre so it can be driven like this when not carrying a passenger). It does not have the full wet weather kit (i.e. roof). • Westfield side wind deflectors – these make a massive difference to the driving experience • VDO gauges fitted • Laser line immobiliser I had a removable steering wheel fitted (due to my 6ft 2in size), making it easier to get in and out, but the original Westfield one is also available with the car. There is a large file of history with all the manuals, brochures, parts catalogues etc. and all the receipts for the part when built, along with the bills through the years of maintenance. All MOTs are available to validate the low mileage and it is fully HPI clear and not an insurance write off. This really is a beautiful and high specification Westfield and competitively priced, taking into consideration the few items that could be worked on in the coming years. 6. I am about to remove this standard, unheated, black windscreen from the car. I want to give you as honest an appraisal on its condition as I can. I'm a bit OCD so probably being incredibly critical/fussy, but having now thoroughly cleaned it and looked at it very closely with work lights from various different angles, I'm quite surprised at the number of really tiny stone chips/marks. The car (and I assume the screen as I believe it's the original) has done 18k miles, so the screen has definitely been used. Under normal daylight conditions it's quite difficult to see most of the chips, it really depends on the angle/brightness of sunlight. There are three, marked with white tape, which are 1mm2 on the drivers side. Unless they've happened between April 2019 and January 2020 they didn't show up on the MOT last April, so I assume they don't affect the MOT. Otherwise it's in pretty good condition. Packaging: you can buy a special box which the factory use to send out windscreens; it cost me £45.24 including postage to send it to me. I've used it to buy and get delivered here a polished screen and having fitted the interior with Celotex insulation, bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard, it seems to work…. well the screen arrived from Essex in one piece! Postage: The packed screen weighs around 11.5kg. As an example, Parcel force 48 UK postage at 12kg costs £23.40 I was going to put an asking price of around £150, but I think given the tiny stone chips I would be looking for sensible offers around £100 plus post and packing. Alternatively collect, if you are near North Devon. Thanks Gareth

Alternatively if you can't collect or want it sooner: Delivery by Parcel Force 48 to UK quoted cost £23.40 for 12kg weight Packaging in Westfield factory supplied ply box, interior fully insulated and padded by me. Westfield Seiw

CAR IS NOW SOLD Here is our wonderful Westfield seiw. It has been in the family since it was built by my father and I. It was first registered in 1994; and finished it the following year. We somehow managed to convince the Chester DVLA that it was made almost entirely from a Ford Sierra and was allowed to retain the donors registration plate. The original intention was to use the car for touring, so the interior was trimmed in red Connolly hide with green piping, the carpets are Rolls Royce green Wilton with red piping, whilst the dash is finished in Red Connolly hide. The car, a Wide body variant, was originally fitted with a Ford X-Flow bored out to 1700cc and fitted with 1300cc pistons, a Kent 234 cam, duplex timing chain, oversize valves and weber 40’s etc, that revved like crazy, this was matched to a Ford Type 9 five speed box. The removal of leaded fuel from sale meant that a change was needed and the current C20XE engine sourced and installed. The X-flow was sold on to a member of the WSCC from Chester. Whilst fitting the XE engine an SBD lightened flywheel was installed, the sump removed and the crank checked, all was in tolerance, but new shells and ARP big end bolts installed, these allow the engine to rev to 8500, but we always limit the engine to 6500, it originally ran on 45 Dellortos, these were eventually replaced with Jenvey 45 Throttle Bodies and the ignition system upgraded to a DTA E48 for both fuel and ignition. When my parents moved abroad, the car was passed to me and I have continued with the process of improvement, the seats have been replaced with more supportive racing seats, a Sparco demountable steering wheel and a Quickshift round off the interior changes. These were mainly to lower my seating position and enable me to look through the screen rather than over it. I also fitted an RAC roll bar and replaced the rear boot trim. I was never happy with the DTA ECU, so a Megasquirt 2 v3.0 was sourced from the USA, built and installed. This has revolutionised the driveablilty of the car, you can poodle around in traffic all day long, but press the loud pedal and the beast awakes!! Another unique feature of the car is the storage space, it comes with a lockable demountable boot box, trimmed in green Connolly hide (naturally) that more than doubles the storage space if touring. Easily removed/fitted with a single bolt fixing. Some of the many key points of the car are below, but it really needs to be seen to appreciate how wonderful it is. Rolls Royce carpets trimmed in Connolly hide Dash trimmed in Connolly hide Side panels as above Gearstick gaiter as hand stitched in Connolly hide Handbrake gaiter as above Detachable Sparko Steering Wheel Age related plate (non Q) from original donor car ARP big end bolts (Rev upto 8500) New big end shells fitted when bolts changed SBD lightweight flywheel Westfield side exit exhaust Megasquirt 2 V3.0 ECU LS9U Wide Band Lambda for ECU Autotune High efficiency aluminium radiator Jenvey 45mm DCOE throttle bodies & Trumpets Unique Alloy wheels, cast and machined by Speedline for my father Toyo Proxes T1R tyres - 195/50 R15, 7mm tread on the fronts and 6mm on the rears Westfield Quick Rack RAC Rollbar Quick Shift Custom embroidered roof bag Boot Cover De-mountable boot box trimmed in green Connolly hide (replaces spare wheel) Rear wheel arch protectors Storage Nets USB Connection in car for live tuning of ECU Willan’s 4 point harnesses Seats leather trimmed to match Connolly hide green & yellow stuff brake pads front and rear Removeable Sparco steering wheel We really haven't spared anything on the car; and it has been a labour of love as its progressed over the years with all work carried out to the highest of standards. The cars build began whilst my father was an engineer at Rolls Royce, hence the amount of work that was carried out by trimmers who worked there. It is with a heavy heart that we are selling it, but for family reasons I need to sell. It comes with 3 months MOT remaining; but it always sails through without any issues. I can if requested put it through to it’s MOT early and sell it with a full 12 months. You really will be buying a lovely car and you will not be disappointed. We have almost all of the paperwork records of MOTs etc. from the cars history. If you would like to hear it - although this was on the old DTA FAST ECU - not the Megasquirt which is a huge improvement, here is a video of an evening track event at Cadwell Park - I know it can go much quicker but never had the heart or ability to do so! https://youtu.be/XvRRuq1CttM Please email to arrange a viewing and test drive - reasonable offers considered on this rare gem.

    For Sale SEiW 2.0ltr Pinto

This is my cherished little red rocket. First registered in 2005 and has only covered just over 11000 miles with 1 previous owner who was the builder of it. It is running a lovely strong Vulcan Engineering 2.1ltr pinto with FR32 Cams, twin 45 dellorto carbs which I had tuned and tweeked last summer by Airey Tuning. Rolling road set up with 143 bhp recorded at the wheels. It comes with full wet weather gear which is on great condition. Plus a full all weather car cover. Since I bought it last summer I have done the following: Upgraded all pipes to Roose motorsports silicone hoses New large capacity battery New battery lead and clamps New light weight battery tray Stripped and repainted both front hub uprights Stripped and repainted both rear drums Rechromed the roll bar Had the kick plates and dash trim wrapped in carbon look 3M vinyl New Burton Power race HT leads New NGK spark plugs New carbon look front wings which I secured from the underside so you don't see the bolts. I really haven't spared anything on this car I love it and will be sad to see it go. But for family reasons I need to sell. It comes with a brand new 12 month MOT which it sailed through. It really is a lovely car and right to go for the summer. Couple of points to notice, one patch on the nearside rear wing has some slight cracking to the gel coat but nothing major. And it has a tiny oil leak on the bottom of the engine but hardly noticeable. I check the oil weekly and in 12 months of ownership I've topped it up once with about 150ml. THIS IS NOW BOOKED IN TO BE FIXED EARLY NEXT MONTH. You really will be buying a lovely car and you will not be disappointed. Please email to arrange a viewing and test drive. £7600 OVNO Frenchy2965@gmail.com

  11. I have for sale a pair of Westfield sports seats, black with crimson red piping and bolster inserts. These are both in great condition and are very comfortable to sit in. I have removed these from my wide bodied 2004 Westfield. Both come with adjustable mounting rails fitted so are ready to be bolted in. These seats are the best part of £300 each new from the Westfield factory, so these are a bargain! Im looking for £200 for the pair. Buyer is to collect the seats from Walsall West Midlands. I dont wish to send them via courieras they are large items and wouldn’t want them to get damaged in transit. Thanks for looking, Martin.
