  1. Sad to say but I need the garage space to work on my westy, So the mini traveller is up for sale. £5,500. H reg 1969 mk2, with sliding windows, remote gearbox and real wood decor on the back. Message in the forum or email markc797@gmail.com. I live in Devon but I have a trailer so could deliver. Solid bodywork with recent new floor, wings and repair panels. Tired paint and a few bits of surface rust but it polishes up well. Interior was next job to be done. Everything works and is used regularly when dry. I spent over £3k on gearbox rebuild and front subfrrame refurb. New tyres, new fuel tank, new front suspension. Very original with drum brakes all round, dynamo positive earth. 97,000 miles first owner from new till 2019 then garage who did bodywork then me. Lots of paperwork, original manual, and heritage certificate. See my rebuild blog on this site for all the details.
  2. Here for sale is my 2000 (W) Westfield Megabusa. I originally looked at moving the car on around this time last year but decided to keep it and fit a full windscreen instead. This was carried out through the guys down at the new Westfield factory (using all new parts at not insignificant expense), but I’ve found that I’m still not using the car as much as I’d like. I’ve just got to the point where I have to admit that the way I use a second car has now changed, and although I've loved it (a Megabusa was always the one for me!) and it's a lovely car, it just doesn't fit my lifestyle at the moment. The car has an interesting story as it was the press demonstrator for the factory during the year 2000, appearing on the “2 Wheels Better” program on Men and Motors, which included an interview with Chris Smith about the bike-engined revolution while he was sitting in the driver’s seat. This can still be seen on YouTube at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_DaCqTgiPM&list=PLW4hczp_CZb4DI1EE5zRzFqEvDmBtbpmq&index=1 Around the same time it also appeared in Car magazine’s Performance Car of the Year test against a Caterham R500 and Lotus 340R. It can also be seen in various Kit Car magazines from back in the day, as well as the "Westfield Story" book, copies of which I have collected over the last few years and will be sold on with the car. As you can imagine from its press car status, it was very highly spec’d from the factory, with the specification briefly comprising: Image 13” 2-piece light alloy wheels. Westfield Dry Sump System. Westfield Reverse Gearbox. Quick Release Steering Wheel. Carbon Fibre Nose Cone. Carbon Fibre Cycle Wings. Carbon Fibre Dashboard. Carbon Fibre Centre Console. Carbon Fibre Tunnel Top. Carbon Effect Stoneguards. Willans 4-Point Harnesses. Nitron Shockers. Front and Rear Anti-roll Bars. After it’s time with Westfield, the car was bought by a collector and stayed with him for 18 years or so, having very little use within that period. It was then put up for auction and bought by Castle Cars in Cornwall who had been tasked by one of their customers to source the very best example of a bike-engined Westfield that they could get their hands on. They then went through the car, recommissioning it, before their customer found that at 6’ 4” and 18-19 stone, they couldn’t fit in it! It was at that point in 2019 that I bought it, travelling down to Cornwall from Merseyside with a trailer to pick it up one Saturday. It’s my 3rd bike-engined Westfield having built a Megablade during 2000 and subsequently keeping it for 11 years, before then building a Megabird after that. When built, the car was fitted with a brand new Hayabusa engine from a donor bike (as was Westfield’s way at the time) and has covered very little mileage since (less than 2,000), which is reflected in its condition, with only minor wear and tear to the bodywork and interior despite being almost 25 years old. The car has recently been serviced, with new oil and filter, spark plugs and a set of coils. Last year the shockers were serviced and dyno-tested by Nitron down at the factory, and the adjusters on the rear shockers were renewed. I have all invoices and details of all the maintenance carried out while in my possession, including the invoices from Westfield for the windscreen upgrade. We've had some adventures, and it will be missed, but time for somebody else to enjoy it now. £12,950 ono. I’ve added some walk around videos on YouTube, which can be found here: Please call or WhatsApp on 07394 113927, or message through here. I also have some spares such as an RAC Rollbar, new rear stoneguards (still in the package, never fitted), the original carbon fibre Westfield aeroscreen and mirrors, and a replacement sump panel for the dry sump system (picked up as it was the last one "old" Westfield had in stock, and I bought it just in case). These can be had through separate negotiation.
  3. The time has come to sell my high spec road-legal, track focused, 2 Litre Duratec powered Westfield. I have owned the car for the last 4 years. Although predominantly a track car it is fully road-legal and I regularly attend the local WSCC meets. The car originally started off life with a Zetec engine. However in 2015 the previous owner took the car to Northampton Motorsport where a fully rebuilt Duratec engine was supplied and installed. Northampton motorsport also refreshed the car with a new fuel system, new cooling system, rewire with new dashboard, and a full suspension setup. They also ran in the new engine, followed by a rolling road tune where it produced 254bhp and 187lb-ft (254Nm) of torque. A large number of receipts are available for this work totalling over £13500. The car has covered just over 3000 trouble free miles with the new engine. Weighing just 545kg and running 254bhp the car is extremely quick on track. Having been setup by Troy at NMS the car is a joy to drive.. The handling is very predictable which inspires great confidence. Having owned a number of track cars this is by far the quickest and most enjoyable car I have driven on track. There is nothing quite like it. I have regularly serviced the car using only Millers Nanodrive NT+ oil every few hundred miles. The car comes with 12 months MOT unit November 2022 - No advisories on last MOT. Current engine mileage is 3050 with approximately 8600 miles on the chassis. There have been 4 previous owners. I’ve listed the specs below. As you can see no expense has been spared. Included with the car is a huge folder of receipts and history. 5. SOLD to Millwood Motors Dursley. They seem a very nice bunch, not the biggest amount of cash, but very easy. Now the Westfield is complete IVA'd and on the road I can't justify (afford) two 7's, so the time has come to sell the Caterham. I assembled it back in 2016 / 2017. Paid Caterham to check it out pre IVA and it passed first time. Been great fun to drive, pin sharp steering and lots of fun on damp roundabouts. Now I have a Westy I am hooked on the idea of upgrades, so the Caterham will be funding that bad habit. It is a 160 S so you probably know the spec includes. Suzuki 660cc Turbo engine. 80 BHP so at about 500 Kg Caterham call it 160 BHP / Ton. Firecracker yellow with black accessories. Best colour combo in my opinion. It is the narrow body standard floor, so if you are over 6 foot with size 12 feet you will struggle to fit. Fixed ARB at front Non adjustable coilover Bilsteins all round Live rear axle Narrow steel wheels Disks up front, drums at the rear, non servo brakes. Intercooler Wet weather gear, including doors and a rag top that works. 4 point harness Roll bar Heater Heated windscreen 12v socket 5500 miles or so Good condition, a bit of 7 acne low down on rear wheel arches as you would expect. MOT due 04-June-2022 Just serviced it. So new oil, new oil filter, new air filter, drain and fill coolant, replaced DOT 4 brake fluid. No problems starts first time on the button. Now the price, tricky, at the moment it is the only one for sale as far as I can tell in the UK. In Japan (where most of these end up) I believe this spec sells for £25k to £30K, the Sprint and Super Sprint Gentleman racers of similar age ( same car just a lot of leather and retro style) go for about £28K upwards. So I am looking for £19,750 as it was a kit build and is not weighed down with leather and fancy paintwork. Me and the car are based in Brixham Devon, I can provide a lot of pictures if required. contact via the forum or markc797@gmail.com
  6. Hi All, I know this is not the right time to sell a car such as this (in the middle of a pandemic and a economic downturn!), but it is simply to good too good to go as part of a trade in for my new company/tow car (It is my company so using it as part of the deposit). I have done a deal with a dealership (so match the price and it is yours!), but would rather it goes to someone who will appreciate the care and cash that has been spent on it over the years, rather than it end up in a auction and then neglected on a 2nd hand car lot! The background is that my Dad purchased the car back in 2007, brand new, from the local Jeep main dealer (he really wanted a Range Rover, but could not justify the massive price!). Sadly he died earlier this year and I have inherited it, after using over the years for towing etc and more often in the past 6 months, I cannot justify the fuel costs any more so have decided to move it on. My Dad was a true petrol head with a collection of cars from a 99 year old Morris to a 2 year electric BMW. It has not wanted for anything, I have a a thick folder full of service receipts, original order paper work, and info/receipts for the bits and bob's he added or replaced to maintain the car in tip top condition. The private reg number is included in the sale - LBL 11W - just have a look at the MOT history, find a cleaner one 🙂 ! It is a Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L Hemi Limited in silver with a grey leather interior, with a automatic box. With only just under 72000 miles on the clock from new and is in overall superb condition. Good bits: Rust Free, has been parked in a carport all of it's life. Low mileage top of the range car, with a V8 engine, in really good condition. All the electrics work - dimming rear-view mirror, heated seats, computer, electric seats, sat nav, radio, cd, parking sensors (see below), tyre pressure monitor (see below), reversing camera (with external plug and cable to add trailer camera), duel zone air con nice and cold, central locking etc. Full service history, good alloys with recent Cooper Discovery All Terrain Tyres (see below), a good spare, load liner, all the original tools, hand books, radio code, 2 keys (1 needs the battery holder soldering - I have fat fingers trying to change the battery), chassis/under body professionally protected, privacy glass, heavy duty tow bar with 13 pin electrics, starts first time every time. Not so good things: Due to the nonstandard tyre size it sometimes flags up a low tyre pressure warning ( a common error apparently), one of the rear parking sensors keeps popping out of its hole thus flashes up a error from time to time, one of the lower aftermarket spot lamps is broken, has 2 small body marks (one on front bumper, one on lower passenger door) and the front lower spoiler has become loose on the right hand side. All of these can be seen if you look really closely at the pictures and are easily fixable. As i have mentioned I have already had a trade in price agreed, but if anyone fancies a really quick 4x4 with the reassurance that is in great condition for any car, let alone of one of this age give me a shout. I have tried to be as honest as possible, and do not want to waste anyone’s time or my own, so if someone fancies it, the first to see will buy at £4500. Thanks for looking and please do ask any questions. I live in Gloucestershire, near the M50.

  8. After very very much deliberation I've decided to put my beloved Westy up for sale. She's just not getting as much use as I'd first planned and think it's about time someone else can have the grin factor. The car is an 18 plate with 2700 miles. It was built with road in mind, but has got the usual upgrades that would suit track days (1 track day completed in it so far, featured in the club magazine). It has important things for the taller driver like 5cm taller Sport Turbo Windscreen and ST Side screens, but would suit average height folks as well 😀 It has had a couple of cms added to the upper steering column by John Danby racing to bring the wheel closer when the seats are all the way back, as well as a quick release steering boss. Lastly it has JK seats, giving loads of extra cockpit room. The build is fully documented on a web blog, with loads more photos and documentation available. Located in Chelmsford, Essex. Spec White ZK Bodywork with Green race stripes 2.0 Ford Zetec with Omex Throttle Bodies, Omex ECU and Raceline sump 5 speed gearbox Upgraded Wide Track Front Suspension Upgraded 4 pot Brake kit (Westfield black calipers) Limited Slip Differential Upgraded Protech Adjustable Shocks Carbon Fibre Front Wings Team dynamics Pro Race 1.2 black 7 x 15 wheels Sport Turbo Windscreen and side screens (5cm taller) as well as additional Wind Deflectors Extended Upper Steering Column Detachable Steering Wheel MSA Half cage roll bar JK custom Seats Sabelt 4 point harnesses Heater SoftBitsforSevens custom made rear Boot cover SoftBitsforSevens custom made passenger Tonneu Cover Westfield Black Half Hood Coolex upgraded alloy radiator Black carpets Immobiliser and wheel locks 12v power socket Fire extinguisher Oil pressure gauge Oil catch can Chassis treated with Dynatrol anti rust Professional Corner weight set up by MK sportscars in Braintree Bad bits The screen has a stone chip and a small crack and may need replacing before MOT time. (£300 from Westfield) Offers considered. I also have 13" wheel set, and some other spares.
  9. Hi All. New to the forum and hopefully picking up my Westfield tomorrow. So I need the garage space which means the MX5 must go. £800 for quick sale. MX5 Eunos Roadster 1.8i It has been in a garage for over a year. (Will be put under a car cover from tomorrow). New battery installed and started first time. 180k KM No MOT and on SORN. 1.8 engine pretty standard, don't think there are any modifications. Drives well. Engine and gearbox seems sound. Alloy wheels and space saver. Lights all work fine. Dials all work fine. Electric windows work fine. Immobiliser. It had a new radiator fitted as the old one sprung a leak. Bad Bits: Rust is starting to appear at the rear of the sills. Roof really needs replacing, Rear window badly broken and a slight hole in the fabric next to the window. (See pictures - Rest of roof is ok) Rubber has started to perish on roof seals. Stereo does not work. Inside needs a good clean. Needs a good polish. Not fitted: Spare roof mechanism and engine strut bar if needed. This would make a good donor or with a little effort a good summer car. If I had the time and space I would get it on the road again but my attentions will be on the new Westfield. Any questions or info i have missed let me know. auryn.hughes@gmail.com Located Mid wales, Llansantffraid-ym-mechain (Not far from Oswestry - 8 miles, 25 miles to Shrewsbury) Buyer collect.
  10. £6,950 ovno MOT (No advisories), oil, filter & brake fluid change all completed on 21st June 2020. I purchased this car in 2015 and it has only ever been used occasionally (~1,000 miles, it is vehicle number 4 of mine) in good weather conditions and never seen a track. I bought this as a weekend toy, but two small children and other hobbies (motorbikes & cycling) has meant that it doesn’t get used much more than to keeping it running. With that said, every time I have used it I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It will be a shame to see it go, but the lack of use just doesn’t justify keeping it. The car is in good condition and has always run well for me, pulling cleanly in all gears with good brakes, tyres & tread depth and comes with two sets of keys. The battery is on a trickle charger and the car Is garaged. The car has benefited from the oil, filter and brake fluid all being changed on 20th June 2020, along with a new MOT running to June 2021 (no advisories). Wheels, tyres and suspension are all in good condition. There are a couple of areas I would tidy up if I was keeping the car (nothing that stops the car from being enjoyed now): • Fit new service kit for the Weber carbs (I have the kit ready to fit) • There is some very slight discolouration in very small areas of the paint due to a tyre sealant can that leaked (behind the passenger seat) • Replace the front left suspension gaiter The car was built in 2001 with the following spec; • Fully reconditioned 2.0 ltr Ford Pinto with Twin 40 Weber Carbs and a Piper cam. • Fully reconditioned type 9, 5 speed gearbox with new clutch • Reconditioned live back axle with all new nylon bushed just fitted on the links • V8 bonnet option which looks amazing, and also offers the ducted noise options which provides better radiator cooling. • Rear boot compartment with cover • Black pack – including headlights, roll bar, screen mounts etc. all factory powder coated black • New discs and pads • New full set of carpet and trim, all genuine with fully adjustable Corbeau leather bucket seats (standard seat belts) • Leather cover for the book and full Tonneau cover that fully covers the boot and driving compartment (it also sits down the centre so it can be driven like this when not carrying a passenger). It does not have the full wet weather kit (i.e. roof). • Westfield side wind deflectors – these make a massive difference to the driving experience • VDO gauges fitted • Laser line immobiliser I had a removable steering wheel fitted (due to my 6ft 2in size), making it easier to get in and out, but the original Westfield one is also available with the car. There is a large file of history with all the manuals, brochures, parts catalogues etc. and all the receipts for the part when built, along with the bills through the years of maintenance. All MOTs are available to validate the low mileage and it is fully HPI clear and not an insurance write off. This really is a beautiful and high specification Westfield and competitively priced, taking into consideration the few items that could be worked on in the coming years. 11. (sold) 2004 WESTFIELD SEIW FOR SALE I have been the proud owner of this internally, externally, and mechanically superb car for 5 years now, but it is time for me to sell. I have cherished this car, it is so much fun to drive, has never let me down and has never failed to put a massive smile on my face! The reluctant sale is due to a change in my current employment situation and medical reasons, the latter of which is meaning that I am not enjoying the Westfield experience as much as I used to. I realise that it is not the greatest time to sell (Covid-19) but I wanted to get it out there and start the ball rolling, although I am in no rush to sell and will not be breaking the car. I will be advertising the car on other sites in due course but as a fully paid member of 6 years wanted to get it up on the WSCC first. £14,000 ovno I will be more than happy to take serious prospective buyers out for passenger rides, adhering strictly to any current Covid-19 guidelines at the time of viewing. I have tried to list all the salient points about the car below but may have missed some bits. Please PM/contact me if you are interested/would like to see more images/have any questions. For Sale SEiW 2.0ltr Pinto

This is my cherished little red rocket. First registered in 2005 and has only covered just over 11000 miles with 1 previous owner who was the builder of it. It is running a lovely strong Vulcan Engineering 2.1ltr pinto with FR32 Cams, twin 45 dellorto carbs which I had tuned and tweeked last summer by Airey Tuning. Rolling road set up with 143 bhp recorded at the wheels. It comes with full wet weather gear which is on great condition. Plus a full all weather car cover. Since I bought it last summer I have done the following: Upgraded all pipes to Roose motorsports silicone hoses New large capacity battery New battery lead and clamps New light weight battery tray Stripped and repainted both front hub uprights Stripped and repainted both rear drums Rechromed the roll bar Had the kick plates and dash trim wrapped in carbon look 3M vinyl New Burton Power race HT leads New NGK spark plugs New carbon look front wings which I secured from the underside so you don't see the bolts. I really haven't spared anything on this car I love it and will be sad to see it go. But for family reasons I need to sell. It comes with a brand new 12 month MOT which it sailed through. It really is a lovely car and right to go for the summer. Couple of points to notice, one patch on the nearside rear wing has some slight cracking to the gel coat but nothing major. And it has a tiny oil leak on the bottom of the engine but hardly noticeable. I check the oil weekly and in 12 months of ownership I've topped it up once with about 150ml. THIS IS NOW BOOKED IN TO BE FIXED EARLY NEXT MONTH. You really will be buying a lovely car and you will not be disappointed. Please email to arrange a viewing and test drive. £7600 OVNO Frenchy2965@gmail.com
  15. After wanting to build and run a Westfield for over 20 years this past year I finally got chance to realise my dream but it is with a heavy heart I have to consider selling my freshly build Westfield. I have been offered a very nice 997 at a price I just can't resist and having known the car for sometime I cannot let this pass by if this sells. For anyone who is interested here is a link to the build thread : Build Thread All purchased new from Westfield June 2018 and the car has now covered 1000 miles with very very little in the way of teething problems. The car has completed one trackday at Blyton Spec : Registered 1/3/19 Electric Blue bodywork 2.0 Blacktop Zetec on Omex throttle bodies and fitted with a raceline sump. New style FW bodywork with no rear plate recess Sport turbo seats black with blue piping Mazda LSD Pro race 1.2 wheels 7" fronts, 8 " rears fitted with Nankang NS-2R's Westfield Hi-spec brake upgrade new front pads just replaced as the EBC's were not to my liking All LED lights front and rear AIM MXS Strada 1.2 Dash with AIM VIM kit Carbon - Dash, front wings, mirror covers, rear arch stone chip covers, diffuser and cage hole covers Genuine Aerocatch bonnet catches OMP Trecento wheel with quick release column TRS 4 point harnesses 8 channel Freewheel setup with wheel backplate (although I am only using 4 of the channels MSA safety devices cage Only ever seen Vpower fuel through its very short life ! Protech Trackday adjustable dampers Perpsex side wind deflectors Full silicone hoses. Full Geo and corner weight setup at Playskool motorsport less than a month ago. The only addition I was going to consider is some stiffer rear springs as if your lardy like me when two up the car feels way to soft at the rear. Oil changed for Quality 5/30 fully Synthetic ester oil around 600 miles. I have another 5 litres of 5/40 and a few oil filters that will come with the sale All bodywork and wheels were machine polished and had a Gyeon ceramic coating applied at the end of the build making it very hydrophobic. This kit was built with the intention of me keeping it many years (or until I could afford a 997 911!) so everything has been done to the greatest of my ability and with no corners cut on the spec I wanted, It really saddens me to even post this up but the wife has signed off on a 911 and knowing her mood swings I need to grab this by the balls. Any inspection welcome - viewing can be arranged most days or evenings - You can contact via phone or via PM on here.

  17. **NOW SOLD** For sale: 1992 Westfield SEIW 2.0 Pinto Kent FR32 cam Type 9 5speed gearbox Twin Weber DCOE40 carbs M16 front calipers mintex 1144 pads Roughly about 24,000 miles( It had a digital bike speedo on when i bought it) MOT'd until 9/6/2019 The engine was rebuild by the previous owner. 205 block, unleaded head. Detachable steering wheel. The car had a new alternator, starter motor, cambelt with tensioner, clutch cable, front calipers, discs, pads, rear discs, pads, electronic ignition, coil, electronic VDO speedo with sender , water temp gauge and facet electric fuel pump last August before I drove it down to Monza to watch F1 then up to Germany to take it around the Nurburgring. Did a total of 2600 miles and only the throttle cable snapped which was repaired at the side of the road in Switzerland(a replacement will be included but the original is still going). The carbs will need rebalancing at some point, it was done last year before the road trip. Also retrimmed the dash and replaced the warning lights with black facia LED ones. It's got an FIA kill switch wired in, 12V and 2 usb sockets in the dash too. Fibreglass seats that were red so I retrimmed them in black faux alcantara which is on the top of the dash as well, they are a bit wrinkled near the base but are the widest seats i've tried being tall and not slim I kept them. New Luke harnesses fitted. I fitted a new heater in the car with windscreen and lower vents as when I bought the car it had an Aero screen on it. Retrimmed the interior carpet along with a bit of sound proofing material. The bootbox has been cut at the sides as it must of had an RAC roll bar at some point. I've got a replacement one that will be included but its in orange. It will also come with a set of 195/50/15 and 205/50/15 toyo 888 tyres which I removed when I bought it to fit road tyres on. The 205 rears were new on and still have the colour markings on them. It's on Toyo T1R's at the moment. Will also come with 2 new front Westfield fake carbon cycle wings which i never got around to fitting. Just fitted LED headlight bulbs and rear tail/stop lights. The paint work is ok for 26 years old, its worse on the passengers side where a bungee cord rubbed on the rear wing before I fitted the windscreen and hood. Some small stone chips on the rear wing . Its got a crack in the paint on the scuttle passengers side. It also comes with a cover that goes from the rear of the car to the windscreen and a full cover. I've owned it for the past 4 1/2 years and have had some fun in it but the time has come to sell as i've done what I wanted to do with the european road trip with the wife. I also bought a Nissan 350z roadster last year so that has done most of the miles in the past 12 months. I'm looking for £5495 ono Contact me on here or slyv12@hotmail.co.uk

  19. I am looking to buy my 1st Westfield imminently...I have looked at 3 so far. When cars are posted up for sale on here with no phone number or email address, is there a way to contact the seller, if you are not a fully paid up member yet? It doesn't seem possible to send a direct mail through the site or reply to the topic...? There is a car for sale on the site that I would be interested in. Cheers Bex

  21. I am new to the Forum - Hello - this may be apparent if I have failed to post this note correctly. I have joined on Trial Membership for 60 days, but hope that will turn into full membership soon. I am a long term car enthusiast, particularly classics, but have never owner a Westfield - the time has come I feel. I have driven them on the track a few times in my past, but never owned one. My other cars, in case this helps gauge my weird tastes are a '69 MGC, a Saxo VTS, a Riley Elf and my daily driver an Audi S3 - all are fun in their own way, but I feel the need for simple driving pleasures, and open motoring, and the Westfield seems the car - something I have always promised myself to own, but never have - I have garage space. First, I suspect mid July is about the worst time to buy one, I realise, but I would like to buy a car this year, but only to buy the right one, and if I have to wait, I will. From the (very) little I have learnt so far, I want a car that I can be proud of, and enjoy for regular but not every day use, with weather gear, albeit I shall try and keep it in the dry. I want a swift car, car engined, but I want a classic set up, so not looking for an Seight, or anything wickedly fast. So, some questions, for anyone out there who can help:- 1. My budget was originally c. £6-7k, but it seems I shall need to stretch this a little - I want a nice car, so can I do that for c. £8k? 2. For that money, what Spec should I be looking to. A friend has a 2 litre Zetec and says this mis the engine to have - I expect this alone could spark a hundred differing views. I am not sure this is within my budget, but am I going to disappointed with the power from another car. MY gut feeling is to go for an older SE or SEi (or SEiW), with a cross flow engine with webers, as this seemed like a good compromise - views? 3. Are there dealers out there to trust, or avoid, and that the Club approves of that I can seek out? Ultimately, I want a car that I can take to shows, drive in nice weather and have short weekends away in with a small overnight bag - and just enjoy simple fast handling, un-fussy. I am not very mechanically minded, so I want a car that is ready to go. Finally, I would say that I had originally considered having a car to race with - I have a race licence and have recently stopped classic racing in an MG. I do however want a car that would be both a road and race car, and I am not sure if that is realistic? If so, is the Speed Series worth joining, competitive and friendly for a Westfield novice, and can I enjoy owning a race car, and use it also at weekends or for a fun drive to work? If sense dictates these should be two separate cars, I shall probably invest in a road car and look for racing thrills elsewhere. Help and pointers much appreciated thank you R
