CrisisWolf
I can tap it out, but don't have a rubber mallet to tap it in (have to hit the number plate and its bound to split!)
KugaWestie
Take the number plate off first, then use a block of wood
CrisisWolf
Probably will be after the track day now, but think I'll be leaving the spare at home indefinitely.
KugaWestie
I have just spent a little while working on mine. Gave it a quick clean, followed by checking and adjusting tyre pressures, engine oil check and top up, coolant check, all coolant hose jubilee clips checked. Just been out for an hour in mine - covered in dead flies now! What time are you Swindonites planning on arriving at the Airfield?

CrisisWolf
What time are you Swindonites planning on arriving at the Airfield? Last time we met at 0800, left at 0815 and its about 20-30mins away from memory.
Dommo
Yeah about 8:30-8:45 I suspect. I'm bringing a rubber mallet for the shelter and am more than willing to bash your car with it Owning a Land Rover I've become rather surgical with a hammer. KugaWestie
I took mine to work today. So I have gone from having a full tank of petrol and a nicely cleaned car ready to go, through to a fly covered dusty car needing refueling
