I did get 5 minutes to offer up the inlet manifold to the engine though

Thing is, you cant see half of it when it is all in the engine bay and I know that, so why am I doing it?

ahh. its the existing mazda one. do you change it with something in the kit then?

Be aware that it needs to be compatible with the guages- I had a problem with it over reading. Eventually turned out to be an incompatible sender and guage.

I had ETB gauges and a VDO sender (as pictured by Kuga) with a 'mushroom' head. The ETB sender had a spade head.

If you are going to run VDO gauges, you need to change the sender, that's what I did for mine

I am almost ready to start putting it all back together now

Inbetween blatting, doing the school run and going for a nice lunch, I fitted the water pump and outlet, as well as the top backplate and camshaft pulleys

I lopped off the tab I left on the front of the camcover, as I am going to route a piece of vacuum pipe from the cam breather outlet behind the backplate behind the cam pulleys.

I have also dropped the camcover off at the powder coaters and hope to be picking it up tomorrow - Just hope I have chosen a good colour now
