Missus is out tonight, so no progress as it is boys night in - pizza and pringles :d

I did get 5 minutes to offer up the inlet manifold to the engine though :cool:

Thing is, you cant see half of it when it is all in the engine bay and I know that, so why am I doing it?

Mine looks nothing like that either. Mine has a spade connector on the end

ahh. its the existing mazda one. do you change it with something in the kit then?

Be aware that it needs to be compatible with the guages- I had a problem with it over reading. Eventually turned out to be an incompatible sender and guage.

I had ETB gauges and a VDO sender (as pictured by Kuga) with a 'mushroom' head. The ETB sender had a spade head.

If you are going to run VDO gauges, you need to change the sender, that's what I did for mine

I am almost ready to start putting it all back together now :d

Inbetween blatting, doing the school run and going for a nice lunch, I fitted the water pump and outlet, as well as the top backplate and camshaft pulleys

I lopped off the tab I left on the front of the camcover, as I am going to route a piece of vacuum pipe from the cam breather outlet behind the backplate behind the cam pulleys.

I have also dropped the camcover off at the powder coaters and hope to be picking it up tomorrow - Just hope I have chosen a good colour now :oops:
