KugaWestie
The existing Mazda one Dave? Or a new VDO one?
darve
ahh. its the existing mazda one. do you change it with something in the kit then?
Doug Dastardly
Be aware that it needs to be compatible with the guages- I had a problem with it over reading. Eventually turned out to be an incompatible sender and guage. I had ETB gauges and a VDO sender (as pictured by Kuga) with a 'mushroom' head. The ETB sender had a spade head. KugaWestie
ahh. its the existing mazda one. do you change it with something in the kit then? If you are going to run VDO gauges, you need to change the sender, that's what I did for mine

KugaWestie
Inbetween blatting, doing the school run and going for a nice lunch, I fitted the water pump and outlet, as well as the top backplate and camshaft pulleys
KugaWestie
I lopped off the tab I left on the front of the camcover, as I am going to route a piece of vacuum pipe from the cam breather outlet behind the backplate behind the cam pulleys. I have also dropped the camcover off at the powder coaters and hope to be picking it up tomorrow - Just hope I have chosen a good colour now
