Got a proper update for you guys this time :laugh:

Started attempting to remove the engine this morning and I can confirm that I was indeed successful :yes:

On close inspection in the garage it would seem there is an oil leak :down:

Seems to be between block and head. thoughts?

This was completed by lunch time so then move onto removing the wiring loom. Damn what a lot of wires :down::laugh: Weather permiting, I hope to have that out tomorrow :yes:

Looks like you could have done with pruning the conifer first before you started :oops:

Is the oil leak running all the way along the exhaust side?

Don't forget to label everything on that look as you pull it out

yeah, think it runs all the way down the exhaust side. Why, what's your thoughts?

That looks like the CAS oil seal to me. Cheep fix.

It's hard to tell if the oil on the side of the block is also from there (I think it may be) or has possibly come from higher up from the cam cover gasket.
