@Gary Taylor - Scotland AO Thanks. Yeah I think I will need a bit of luck but this feels like the right forum to maybe help push the luck along

It certainly is keep an eye on the for sale section for parts and post a wanted add for parts you need it’s surprising what folk have tucked away

start a build thread as we love pictures and all the extra eyes are a great help too, and remember the only daft question is the one you don’t ask

Upright (sierra) I believe will the hardest to source

Which ones? Sierra brake fitment or Sierra SDV?

I have both But will only be selling the larger SDV ones (as a pair)

Oh - and welcome!

(Btw: there were 3 Chris Kings at one time 🤣)

EDIT: spotted the wanted ad- looks like it’s the third type of Sierra upright - the one for lobro shafts.

Is it a different upright for bolt on? I thought it was the same with just the lobro stub shaft fitted instead?

Yes - my push in type are not slightly bulged out in the centre and use different bearings. More obvious from the inside/back

Oh wow this thread has grown legs overnight. Firstly hello to anyone I haven't said hello to yet.

So I have attached the pictures that show essentially what I am dealing with

The rear upright has been source already thanks to Ashley Ponder along with right rear wishbones.

Everyone has been such great help so far and very funny starting the journey by phoning someone with my name Paul Aspden.

The one thing I can't identify yet is the rear damper. Spax can supply a repair kit for the front but this rear doesn't have any branding on it, perhaps the original owner can help.
