stu999 Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 Any hints for those of us who are imaginationally challenged? Fresh clay and a pottery wheel, cuddly toy..... Or do a search Quote
Blatman Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 Yeah. Go shopping with her to her favourite clothes shop (I know, I know........). Make a note of anything she seriuosly considers, or actually tries on. If she looks good in it, but doesn't buy it 'cos "I'll wait for the sales" or other somes such excuse, then you're almost certainly on a winner..........and buying it when it's NOT a sale item makes you look generous too.......it's a win/win situation......and IMO, you realy can't go wrong with classy lingerie or nightwear, so put that Anne Summers catalogue down, and get one from You've left it a bit late though........Agent Provocateur... oooooooo Mrs......... Blatman Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 Luned's not one for clothes shopping either, so that one's always a little difficult. So what does she shop for when she shops? Is there anything she *needs*? Like is her bathrobe a bit threadbare? What about slippers/shoes/boots? What about hobbies outside of looking after you? Does she....er......sew/knit? Ride horses? Has she mentioned *anything* recently by saying something like "Ooooh, I could do with one of those". Thats the key to my Christmas list. I start paying attention around the end of October........... adhawkins Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 You angling for a slot on blind date or something? Ladies and Gentlemen, we have found the perfect man. Andy Quote

Good God man! Paying attention to her needs from October onwards... no wonder the Northerners think we're going soft down here. I wear the trousers around here and the little woman gets what I deem fit. An ironing board cover last year if I remember correctly. And if she plays her cards right there's a fully galvanised coal scuttle waiting for her this time. You'll be telling me you drive with the side screens fitted next... Quote
Blatman Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 I have it a bit easier, 'cos I've also been known to buy her stuff like Nomex Balaclavas, and Sparco driving gloves, 'cos Blatgirl is a Speed Series driver too....... Besides, I wear the trousers too. I get to keep them 'cos I pay attention to what I'm told........ And yes I use the sidescreens so that m'lady's hair doesn't get totally wrecked........ Oooohhhhhh, Andy.........what about gift vouchers for a "Spa" day or something. You know, a day spent "doing" hair and nails and stuff........ Quote
