    Short screen development update

The wide body short screen kit is now in full production. The uprights are printing consistently in PACF25 and the screen blanks are easily output on our manufacturing partners CNC. 5 of the 6 screen styles that are now available starting from the top of the below picture: Wide body small with mirror cutout Wide body medium with mirror cutout Wide body large with mirror cutout Wide body medium full screen Wide body large full screen We will be moving on to doing the narrow body soon. We already have a very clean template that a diligent future custom has sent so it will only be a few more weeks until the narrow body styles arrive. Our wide body screen kit can be purchased online with the usual MoFast delivery methods now covering a large part of Europe. The uprights look so nice and I am so pleased with the effort that our new 3D manufacturing partner has but into these. At MoFast it’s not just the Big Bang parts that matter it’s also the small details. That’s why all our screen kits will come with black stainless screws, the correct stainless flanged nuts and fix washers

    Aero screen options?

Hi guys, I’m thinking about getting an Aero screen to swap out on my SEiW for track days and I also want to take the windscreen and uprights off to recondition /repair. I’ve seen a few cars with different types of aero screens on but not sure which is the easiest to fit (flexible to change) or most appropriate for my car. Any guidance or assistance would be much appreciated, thanks!

    Aeroscreen fitting.....Angle???

I am yet to fit my Aeroscreen but am wondering that given it's design serves to deflect air over the head, how do you work out what angle to fix it when you can't drive it to test various positions? Is there a general rule of thumb or does it's angle not really make that much of a difference?
  7. Hi For sale: carbon fibre aeroscreen. Just taken off a wide body westfield as I am changing to a windscreen. Also have the wing mirrors and rear view mirror if people want the whole set. Sensible offers. Karl
  8. So, the Mrs & I are doing our first Westfield roadtrip, starting this weekend for a week. I've managed to persuade her that going in a 'comfortable' Westfield with an aeroscreen, half doors and no wet-weather gear apart from a cockpit cover when stationary will be an 'adventure' (runs to garage to adjust Nitrons to softest setting). She's excited. Should be c.1400 miles in total over 7 days, stopping off in Glasgow, Glencoe, Fort William, Skye (a round-trip of the isle over 2 days + a flight in a seaplane if the weather is ok..), Loch Ness, Aviemore, Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival, Newcastle and back home. Any last minute words of wisdom or advice we might not have thought of?... Ian K's S2000 build thread & life there after!

Hi Here's a 'side thread' you may wish to read too- Yesterday I bought a 48K engine and gearbox (+loom, ancillaries etc). I was able to compression test the engine and hear it running too. Car was a 2004 plate. Car had light damage to passenger side (looks like it had spun). One of the half shafts was out so couldn't move the car under it's own power. Though all gears tested as okay with no load. Oil was clean, coolant and air filter looked healthy too. Four good same brand tyres on car too, so looks like it had a good life until it spun! No timing chain rattle on cold start up either! Based on how nice Lloydox's car looks. I've gone for white body with black cycle wing and rear carbon effect stone guards. My spec so far is: wide track, front and rear roll bars, LSD, performance brake upgrade, Protech Shocks, Sports Turbo seats (black with white piping), black harnesses, black wheels, digi dash, MSA half cage, FW rear body and diffuser, powder coated panels. I've taken the lazy option of having the factory fit the panels, brake lines and fuel lines. Kit due for collection late Jan 15 / early Feb 15.

  14. I'm almost converted to a dual scuttle windscreen/aeroscreen but I really don't want to have to wear a helmet all the time when I have the aeroscreen on. What are the options for decent glasses that will protect my eyes from debris and also give me options for sunglasses and clear glass for evening driving. What are you aeroscreen drivers using?
  15. An interchangeable aeroscreen, enabling you to switch from windscreen to aeroscreen and back again, using the same fixing holes as used by the windscreen. Can be done in a matter of minutes, so is great for track days and can be set up once there. Picture below shows it on my car, please note that the mirrors are not included. £90 delivered For more information / pictures etc please pm

    Aeroscreen perspex extension

Guys, We currently have a 50mm tall carbon aero lip, but are finding it a little bit windy. We have the standard Westfield sports seat on rails and need to maintain the ability to move them forwards and back to suit the 3 drivers. Does anyone have a aeroscreen with any little perspex extensions, kind of like the ones Ariel fit to the Atom. I think these would make a good bit of difference. Any ideas?
