Matta Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Borders Blat on 20th... Is our first meeting point on Sunday for the 'local' folks still at the Lizzie Bryce roundabout in Livvy? If so, is the petrol station open yet? Based on meeting Neville and the Borders guys at 11:30 at St Mary's loch, we could plan to leave Livvy around 10:00 and miss out Moffat on the way to St Mary's loch (nip over via Talla reservoir on the way there). Going via Moffat is a long way for a short cut! Just a suggestion but would be good to know who's doing what. Quote
Jumpy07 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Sorry cant make it Matt.. next run for me will be Applecross.. have a good one !! Craig Quote

frag68 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 I'm afraid chaps I am nt able to make this run as golfing all weekend at Dalmahoy. In addition the cylinderhead is off the car and awaiting engine mounts before reassembly with the new head, so effectively carless as well. Have a good one, as its a fantastic run and near where I live as well. Its probably the one run I was wanting to do with the other cars, but hey ho. Fraser Quote
kev91 Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Hi guys, Are there many folk going to the run on sunday? Kev Quote
Rab (bombero) Reid Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Planning to, but if it's chucking it down like it is today, then I'll be calling off .. Yes, yes, I know .. girls blouse, etc, blah, blah! Quote
Matta Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 What's the planned route for Sunday? - Leave Livvy ~10:00 (Lizzy Bryce roundabout petrol station) - Meet Border 7's 11:30ish at St Mary's Loch cafe (route probably via Carnwath/Broughton/Talla dam) - Loop down to Moffatt, then Boreland, Eskdalemuir (coffee at the Samye Ling 'monestary') - Back to Ashkirk (off A7 between Selkirk/Hawick) for Nev's superb BBQ (~15:30ish) - Off home sometime later.... I'm sure AO Wee Dov will be along shortly to elaborate on the above. It's a brilliant run and the forecast is ok at the moment. Folks I know of going so far are: Wee Dov Ziplob Dean Bombero (unless he might get wet....p**f! ) Matta +1 (regardless of the weather...) Jumpy/Prisoner/Frag can't make it. Dunno who else. Cheers, Matt Quote
GreigM Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 sorry guys, finally got the car working but there's a track day on Sunday and you know where my priorities lie (thats right, getting 3 laps before something breaks!) Quote
