BEN99W Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Well we enjoyed the run up to colchester - even if we didn't have time to meet the colchesterians or go further. Sounds like it wasn't all plain sailing though. Was the cause of Tigger's breakdown apparent (other than spending too much time on his track car )? Ben Quote
bobsy Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 You NEED a V8? You also will NEED more money as well We lets be honest, none of us really NEED a Westfield at all !! Ok, yes it will cost more it petrol, maybe 50% more, but the amount I'm ever likely to be able to get out and use it, it won't really matter. It could actually save me money, as if I had a V8 I'd have the noise I love so wouldn't have the expense of buying another bike. One thing I did wonder, the torque of the V8 actually gave the impression it'd be harder to use the full power than it would with a higher revving, but same performance smaller engine !! Does that make any sense ?? I know all you guys are used to these things, but they're so different to anything I'm used to. Quote

bobsy Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I wish I'd gone and looked at the black one with the stripes that was for sale on here recently, that'd have been ideal. Quote
