Essex --> Norfolk

I'm going to have a stab at being there, just need to do a bit of shift adjusting as I usually work until 2o'clock.

   My Mrs is showing her Shire horse at Tendring on Sunday. I don't tend to get invited to too much of that stuff, partly because I'm very nervous of horses and can't ride, this really stops me fitting in too well.  

   However as my Mrs has something as difficult to justify as a Shire, it's almost impossible for her to ever question anything I might want for myself, so a Westfield it is then.

Why not get two, they would still be lighter than a shire horse LOL

Copdock bike show is on tomorrow as well, typical as I'd have like top have gone to Westfield meet, and bike show.

   However the choice has been made easy as it doesn't look like I'll make it to either.

I'd have really liked to have see some of the cars this season, as I've had no chance of getting out this year so far.

 

  I've worked weekends for years now  

  Still, I could get out early I guess. I'm near to Colchester, but I'm guessing you'll spend no time there. How far into Norfolk is the end location, and I'll try to be there.

  The fastest thing I have at the moment is a V-Tec Honda people carrier, so I don't think I'll bode well in a blat.  

I could meet you at tesco's if youd like a ride in mine? sorry its a late post , I'll check in, in the morning

I'm so grateful anyone would take the trouble to offer me a ride from Colchester, but I can't get ther for that sort of time, as much as I'd have loved to.

However Mrs has done her event or whatever it is they do with Shire horses, other than clear up vast amount ot S**t. Her other horse doesn't like the heat, so she'll be back in time for us to leave here around 1o'clock so I should be there little after 2. Really looking forward to it

Well what can I say

Firstly an excellent turn out from the Essex Lads, IIRC I briefly counted 8 cars at the Colchester Rendezvous for our blat across Suffolk in the swealtering sunshine.  

Thanks Tigger for the entertainment, I presume from you lack of presence on here you're still sat in a beer garden at Bures [pronounced] Bew-urghs .

Many thanks the Paul S and the other Suffolk/Norfolk lads for the welcome, sorry we were a bit late (see above ^^^^^), Some nice roads and scenery on route, shame about the tractor me and pete got stuck behind on one of my favourite roads but we all (less tigger) got there in the end.

Hope the rest of the Essex lads all make it back ok without problems. A very spirited final leg into Earls Colne with Kevin helped me to blow away any cobwebs
