NSCC should refund or carry over your race entry fee though ??? If yes, then you might as well keep your fingers crossed, if not  :bangshead:  :down:

dunno havent had anything from them yet  ???  ???  ???  ???

I want to be there on Saturday regardless suppose I cut two holes out the floor and use my feet to get round  :D  :D  :D  :D

Could stick that spare pinto in the meg and race that? :D

I wonder if you could have entered the meg if it was alive. Sure it would just need your extinguisher and it'd be reet, or does it have to have an MSA log book thingy?

email them and let them know your predicement.

My club will always carry over an entry fee till next month. But, other events or non member clubs normally as a rule of thumb give you upto three days before the event to pull out ;)

Being a 1540 busa Im guessing it wont be a custom piston. I'm going to take a wild guess that the original builder has picked the nearest standard piston, probably from a lower reving car, its probably too heavy for the revs and hence the cracking from the momentum at the top and bottom of the stroke. Can the rods be checked for any signs of elongation?

no they are wiseco pistons made for the job and Ive been informed that each  block is bored/plated to the pistons , standard pistons/bore is 81mm and mine has 83mm , most of the extra cc comes from the stroker crank  ???  :suspect:

place pistons are coming from forgot to send them out so engine hasnt been built today, If I make it on Saturday it will be a miracle at this rate  :down:  :down:  :down:

well I got home with engine last night at 11.00 so if things go my way It should be fitted this morning and run in this afternoon , collected the new manifold yesterday on the way down , looks good but Im not confident its going to fit  :(
