Pilot Pete Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 If you decide to get rid. You've got some choice for replacement. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/415096.htm http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/386538.htm Not sure they'd be elgible for the NSSC mind? See what you mean by very lucky to of not injured yourself, was a "biggun". Standard busa turbo perhaps? Probs cheaper than the 1500 setup. Struggling to load our footage at the mo, the tube is being a pain in the a**! Quote

Buzz Billsberry Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 Absolutely gutted for you Jeff.... Got to say the car was going very from a spectator point of view, and there wasn't much out there on the day that could touch it. Just hope the crank is ok. Look forward to seeing at your 1st race @ Croft Buzz Quote

Struggling to load our footage at the mo, the tube is being a pain in the a**! Jeff Hard lines mate, no one likes to see engines go bang! If you are looking for a replacement there was a 1400 on race cars direct that was up for 7.5k. If you decide to get rid and go the radical route I would advise spending a little more that the SR4 and go for a Pro6. These are to my mind the best Radical have made. A major development of the Prosport ( until now the best Radical ) but they have developed it and brought the great rear end of the SR4 in. I have run the SR4, ProSport, and a few SR3's and now we have the Pro6 and it runs rings round them all even with the 1300 bussa You would also be able to race in 750 bike sport, Radical round as well as various other championships. Hope you get sorted in time for your first round Rob Quote
JeffC Posted May 1, 2008 Author Posted May 1, 2008 few developments today.set about with my spanners to see whats what, crank looks fine, 4 valves slightly bent and two fooked casings and cylinder scrap. everything else looks brand new still. getting crank and head checked 2mrw, the outcome will influence of what I do, If both ok looking to get a more powerful version of what I broke built complete engine in bits, nowt to it is there Quote
