If crank and head are ok they are most costly bits for 1548 I think

Terry watched in hi- resolution, when it went bang  oil gauge never moved pressure is still up when its belching smoke out,  light doesnt come on till car  locks up  

car has always had fluctuation in oil pressure,have  tried everything to cure it but couldnt and run out of suggestions, pressure never dropped right down so decided to put up with it

really not sure I can go back to standard 1300cc, may fit the brand spanker engine and sell car  and move on  , if the bits in the engine are shagged I simply cant justify the big spend to put it back to how it was
