Anybody up for a social gathering to see in the festive season?

I have a table reserved at the 'Lord Ted' on Saturday 30th November at 7pm - a carvery on the west side of Newark just off the A46 for easy access. NG24 4SW

Full menu plus a carvery of various sizes. Take a look at https://www.greeneking-pubs.co.uk/pubs/nottinghamshire/lord-ted/menu/main-menu

Pay for you own and anybody welcome.

Need to know numbers asap even if it is only a 'maybe'. Firm numbers beginning of November.

Disclaimer - eaten there once and it was good. No idea what it will be like again but assume as it is a big chain that it will be ok!!

The time has come when I need to confirm the table booking.

The people who have confirmed that they are coming are

@AndrewBClarke and Clare

@Trevturtle and Kirsty

@aeg and Beckie

@Martyn Vann - Joint Warwickshire AO and Sue

@Ian Hart

@MattV and Paula

Mad Dog Pete

Chris Emmerson and Mo are a 'probable' and are still finding it difficult to log in to this site so I will use FB Messenger to get confirmation. NOW CONFIRMED. 😀

This makes 14

If there is anybody else who would like to come, please drop me a note asap and I'll add you in.

Looking forward to it.

Andrew

PS - Clare seems to think that it is necessary to say that you don't have to come in a Westy - tin tops (and in Martyn and Sues case, Sally) are quite acceptable. I thought this was obvious as it will no doubt be cold and dark...….
