darve
I started installing the front wishbones and the instruction manual calls for a little spacer to be used between the wishbone bracket and the headlamp bracket. Doing so make the headlamp bracket sit at an angle. it that correct??? it sits nice and straight without
Mark (smokey mow)
Its hard to tell from the photo as its a bit blurry but have you used the right spacer? The ones for the diff cups are very similar, but also slightly different.
darve
yeah sorry about the rubbish photo. here's a photo of the spacers next to the diff ones. the diff spacers came in the post today so I'm pretty sure I have the right ones they look very similar to the ones in this bag of bits if that helps yours looks straight with bracket and mine is really wonky. I the headlight itself adjustable for angle?
Mark (smokey mow)
Theres a good chance it will pull up straight when you do up the wishbone bolt and the pinch bolt on the bracket. Any slight misalignment can be adjusted out in the headlamps.
darve
I'll tighten it up and see what happens. if it's still really wonky I guess the spacer can be removed and a shorter bolt used

darve
here's it tightened up and here's with a single washer instead if the spacer. much better I think?
