KugaWestie Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Remeber to think about packing the diff down a bit Darve when you put it in, stops the CV boots rubbing later on Quote
darve Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 I saw your post Gary on your thread. I will carry out your mod brake master cylinder turned up today so that got duly fitted. do you think the iva man will be happy with the arrangement around the m/c nothing is touching. here's am overall shout of the final breakline fitted I then made a nifty bracket for the fuel lines where they come up the bulk head Quote

darve Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 it's the brake line arrangement I'm asking about btw. phone won't let me edit my post Quote
Mark (smokey mow) Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 it's the brake line arrangement I'm asking about btw. phone won't let me edit my post The line to the front brakes appears to be unsupported for quite a distance between where it exits the M/C to that first clip on the diagonal chassis brace? darve Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 don't think that would fit under the bonnet mark o_O Quote
darve Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 that's my concern mark it's about 200mm from the clip on the diagonal to the primary port but I guess the iva man will look at the distance if a piece of seeing was run along the pipe and then straightened out and measured? may have to come up with a beaker of some sorts. there is only a tiny but of flex in the pipe? fixing a clip to the pipe under the clutch mc wouldn't add any rigidity so I think it would have to be in between somehow Quote
darve Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 a bit of flat bar or angle bar bolted to the bottom MC bolt with a p clip should suffice. just need to come up with a way to make it nice and neat Quote
darve Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 oh forgot to post my last pic! rear loom has been made up. will replace the connector with some waterproof ones Quote
Dommo Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 At the very least spraying the interior panels black makes things easier to photograph! That box contains a flux capacitor. Quote
SootySport Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 I know what the big box contains- Daves examination papers Or maybe a Roll Cage. Quote
