ziplob Posted January 21, 2011 Author Share Posted January 21, 2011 the route that matty posted is the very route that we will take the meeting point will first of all be at killmahog at the visitior centre next to hamish the bull , not sure of the time yet but we can get a bap and tea/coffee before we set of . as for the van i am planing to set up a couple of pick up points on the thursday night so you can bring your tents/fuel/toold/spare wheels etc oh and the beer? there is a shop on site and the pub but we are on the look out for a large gas barbie if anyone has one . also we are not allowed to put up any gazebos but the way round this is a large family tent we just leave the sleeping compartments out it and this will give us a place to sit and shoot the breeze.so if you have one let us know. Scottish Westy Posted January 27, 2011 Share Posted January 27, 2011 What about the large SKCC tent we had down at Stoneleigh? Would it be deemed a gazeebo when it is fully enclosed? It could hold a fair number of persons along with the BBQ, just need power and lighting. If interested let me know, between Geo, Wee Dove and myself we'll try to get it sorted. This is an informal meeting to talk about like minded stuff and perhaps arrange a few joint ventures. I will keep you posted via the forum .
