Llandow track / test day

Hi All,

In lieu of the fact that the Mallory track day was cancelled this year, there appears to be a silver lining for those disappointed track day enthusiasts amongst you... and what's more it's an absolute bargain !!!

I have made arrangements for the exclusive use of Llandow circuit near Cardiff for WSCC members on Friday July 20th to run a track / test day. The cost for

the full day for WSCC members will be a mere £65 per car and £75 for non members.

Those of you that compete in the Speed Series will notice that this is the day prior to the sprint at the circuit and Saturday 21st July.

All WSCC members are welcome to come along and mix it with some of the Speed Series guys and gals who may be practicing for the sprint the following day.

You may even be tempted to have a dabble yourself in the future once you have experienced what the banter and experience is like.

Any WSCC members can always seek the ever helpful advice and assistance of the Speed Series drivers.

There will be free camping at the circuit on the Thursday night prior to the day and also on the Friday night afterwards. So why not make a weekend of it

and on Saturday watch the sprint meeting and maybe even volunteer to marshal.

There is an on site cafe that will be open all day and there are on site toilet facilities. There are more luxury camping and toilet facilities at the camp site next door, however this will be chargeable and require booking directly with the campsite.

So what more could you want ? Free camping and a full test / track day for a bargain price. It's even near the sea if you fancy making a family weekend of it.

The day will be run in 4 batches of 8 cars for 12 minute sessions on a rolling basis. There may also be a small batch dedicated to open wheeled cars in the sequence as closed wheel and open wheel cars are not allowed on

the track at the same time. This will be subject to space availability as WSCC members have priority.

Download your application form and get your place booked early as spaces are limited to 32 cars. BOOK EARLY

Thanks - John Loudon.

Hopefully, however it could be tricky as Llandow won't allow closed and open wheel vehicles in same group

Put an entry in and we'll have to see how it pans out  ;)  :) can't guarantee it yet though

Thanks Mark, will do.

Interesting question, is a Westfield a closed or open wheeled car ? The backs are closed, but the fronts open :D:D:D
