i think you misunderstood me, i meant on the normal bit of road tightly space in three lanes.    

done three abreast on the two lane section of A1.  I reckon its possible to do 5 in 3 lanes

Regarding use of the motorway photo you might want to remember that there's a Cat amongst the pigeons, so to speak.

Im the dude with the R1 Mk,  I got to say that that trip down there still makes me smile ( mint westy, say no more, nutter :- )  well worth getting up early for, had a great drive down.  you guys have some quick cars :-)  I've never seen so many camera phones going off on the way down.  Every car I look at seem to enjoy the site.
