I'm not comparing my westfield to anyone else's westfield, just to my previous cars....... And that is *possibly* why you *may* be drawing the wrong conclusions....a Westfield is a completely different animal. Even without the rest of the explanations that have been discussed, I guess there will be a big difference of the sprung/unsprung weight ratio, between a Westy with 670 kgs, and a Lotus with 850 kgs fitted with the same wheels Unsprung mass (or rather, lack of) is vitally important when trying to keep the wheels on the ground.
