Attended our first Stoneleigh show last year. Was pleasantly surprised at how well organised it was. As soon as you get there you will immediately realise your car is very safe there.

@ianali - great thanks, that’s reassuring! D

@Rory's Dad - great idea! Come back from a Show better off than when I arrived? Unheard of! 👍

We used to go to a 'holiday camp' near Flamborough Head, parked up by the entrance, charged a couple of quid for the air ambulance for a sit in the Westfield of your choice and had a whale of a time!!

Came home with a couple of fresh crabs too.

@Rory's Dad - probably saw you there. We lived in Hull and spent a lot of time up that coast from Spurn point through Withernsea, Brid and Flamborough up to Filey Brig. They all had plenty of crabs…..

Looks like kits don't get in free any more???

Posted

For the first time, kit drivers are being charged. £5 iirc. I guess it's due to the lower numbers recently

Looking on the bright side, it saves a fiver if I go in my kit….

You’ll need it - plenty of goodies and bling to lust over and purchase once there…

@Captain Colonial Ha! I’m ready for that. No Mrs CherryTree there to keep me in check…. 😀

Not my first time at Stoneleigh but potentially the first time for my lovely wife.

But we have a hurdle to overcome…

Anyone know what the policy is on bringing a dog? I’m trying to persuade the wife to join me but she won’t leave the pooch and we’re on the limit with pooch sitting favours this year!

We will be in the camper van in case you’re wondering 🤣

 he’s no bother…

I’ve brought my dogs on occasion and seen others with theirs.  In fact, my West Highland White Terrier, Sophie, memorably had to be moved on during an AGM because she was outside the marquee barking while I was giving the chairman’s report and wouldn’t shut up… @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Secretary et al confirm… 🤦‍♂️
