We had a similar situation living in Yorkshire a few years ago. The generator worked fine until the second night when someone nicked the fuel. Quote

Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted March 28, 2020 Posted March 28, 2020 Chris walked on to the stand of an alternator specialist at Silverstone last year; I'm sure i heard the poor little alternators on the display shelves squeal and try and hide! 1 Quote

Simon Marks. Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Having SORNed four of my cars last Monday, the refund cheques arrived in the post today. Much quicker than I thought would be the case. Must remember not to spend all the money on sweets! Better to make sure that some is left to allow me to get the cars back on the road when a semblance of order returns. Simon 1 Quote
DonPeffers Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Scotland's Chief Medical Officer forgets her own (and Government advice). 05 apr 2020 https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/5460581/coronavirus-scotland-catherine-calderwood-chief-medic-covid-19/ "Chief Medical Officer defying her own government’s advice during the virus lockdown — after travelling to her second home." (On 04 apr 2020 and 44 miles from her main home). Oops. Quote
Steve (sdh2903) Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 (edited) Smooth move doc. Her face is on the telly giving out her advice numerous times a day up here. Did she think she wouldn't be recognised? Although I do feel the usual press calls for her to be sacked or told to step down are wrong. Nows not the time. Im sure she feels enough of a pratt already. Edit. Looks like she's fell on her sword after all. Edited April 5, 2020 by Steve (sdh2903) Quote
DonPeffers Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 When I first posted about Scotland's (now ex) Chief Medical Officer I didn't know she, with family members, had twice visited the second home during the first 10 days of 'lockdown'. Quote
