Garry Bunn - Derby & Notts Joint AO
The National Kit and Performance car show 4th and 5th Sept. I have received confirmation of our club stand for this year. Rob (Taffy) Satherly and Neil Willis will be running things over the weekend, and a grand do it should be. Rob will also handle details as we get closer to the weekend. We have requested spaces for 120 cars, but we are still in negotiation about the location (tarmac or grass). If you wre there on Sunday last year you will know the problems a fixed size area produces. We have asked for a larger chunk of the tarmac carpark. Entry for kit car drivers is £2 and £8 for any passengers. IF YOU WANT A GO ON THE TRACK PLEASE READ AND DIGEST THE FOLLOWING! The following relates to the trackday which is SATURDAY! Bookings for the track are now being taken. The costs are as follows: £185.00 inc of VAT, all day. Extra drivers - £30.00 Passengers - £20.00 • You can book for for a 20-minute session. The cost is £35.00 inc of vat. Passengers - £5 The circuit is approximately 2.7 miles. • Track opening times: 9.00am to 5.00pm. • Please be aware that if your vehicle runs out of petrol on the track there is a fine of £50. • Cars must be fully road legal. Crash helmets are compulsory. The minimum age limit to go on the track as a passenger is 16 years. • Noise levels will be tested before the vehicles are allowed on the track and are 98 decibels. The first noise test will take place at 8.45am and the briefing will follow. SESSIONS (all day or 20 minute) can be pre-booked, and its probably better if you do. Ring Limelight on 01737 225857 They will take your booking and confirm in the post. Tickets will be picked up on the day. They have a web-site which covers camping and general admission. Hope this is clear Garry

neilwillis
It's hard enough knowing you own a Robin Hood without having noisy neighbours too! Still, could be worse, you could own an MR2 that seems suspiciously like a Ferrari - until you start it up of course
Mark B
I'll be there on the saturday & can help out if needed, do we need any passes or anything in order to park on the tarmac infield type bit? If it's of use to anyone, I have access to a sound level meter & can take it with me on the day if anybody wants to check their car? Cheers, Mark.
