Ā We have had a gentle run to Hull today with 2 minutes left at check in due to Terry needing two fuel stops and even more āVapeā stops , then me and Terry were directed to vehicle search , again !!! Ā on the boat now signal nearly gone ! Ā Ā Ā

Marcus Barlow - Show and Events Co-ordinator
We had a good night on the boat, late to bed and slept in so was woken by the cleaners trying to get into our cabin! Terry (ex member)Ā loves his new WSCC glasses caseĀ we got himĀ šĀ we managed about 100 yards on the continent before our firsts breakdown, Wayneās had heat soak queueing for passport control and his battery ended up flat so Terry to the rescue for a jump startĀ šĀ weāve all forget our headlamp deflectors so have made do with bespoke gaffa tape alternatives! 1

Marcus Barlow - Show and Events Co-ordinator
Weāve made it to the first hotel in louxenburg and Wayneās car has been ok. Terry has been sporting his new man bag which took all my concentration to not burst out in laughterĀ š We found an ice cream parlour on route and stopped for a break which was a godsend as itās getting hotĀ š Ā

Marcus Barlow - Show and Events Co-ordinator
Yes it was a hot one today, left the hotel and the sun was out and by 11:30 it was nudging 30 degreesš We went the scenic route and found a few twistiesĀ as well as a couple of autobahn straights to test the cars for later on in the weekĀ šĀ my speedo sensor is playing up again it was reading 15 mph but my sat nav was saying 110 ! Must have a look at it in the morning. wayne has managed to blag some garages at our hotel for the next two nights so no need to gat the cars covered - thus has saved a good half hour of faffing with roofs etc. Wayne (duratec) and myself (zetec) are not doing as good mpg as ex member Barber (s2000) I asked Terry was this something to do with him braking at every corner inĀ the twisties! He said no he was just getting old and bought himself a tart for comfortĀ š Day off tomorrow but will probably have a run out to the Black Forest area which is in our doorstepš
