B3227 Taunton to Torrington Run - Devon and Somerset

Saturday 22 June, 10:30 start from the Cross Keys pub car park, Taunton, the start of the B3227. From there we will follow the B3227 through Wiveliscombe, Bampton, South Molton and Umberleigh finishing up at Great Torrington in the former railway buildings that are now the Puffing Billy Cafe (on the A386) for a bite to eat and meet. (Puffing Billy, Station Hill, Great Torrington, Devon, EX38 8JD) http://www.puffingbilly.co.uk

 

 

Join us at the Puffing Billy, meet us on the way or drive the whole route, it’s all fine. According to Google maps we should arrive at the Puffing Billy around 12:00. There may be some other kit cars joining us as well.

Yes sorry, been a bit busy and car still awaiting fix this weekend (fingers crossed)

Still on for 22 and the weather will be fine! Will be good to catch up.

@GarethHD good of you to come to the start. I’ll be having my breakfast somewhat earlier though! I’ve never done breakfast in Taunton... perhaps an early morning picnic is in order?!

@GarethHD one place I can think of for breakfast is Rumwell Farm Shop, on the A38 just west of Taunton. Good parking, and easy to head through Silkmills (effectively skirting the west edge of Taunton) to get to Crosskeys when you're fed and watered.

@AdgeC Hopefully it’s the throttle position sensor, but it’s taken ages to get delivered and I haven’t been able to fit it so far this week to check it solves the problem. 

 

From your previous post, the start location is the pub car park.
