What did I get?

A shedload of WSCC supplied beer, burgers, hog roast, tea, water, tool roll - oh and did I mention the beer :t-up:

Plus a dam fine weekend with some top chaps and chapesses :d

I bought a manifold (£200) and an exhaust with catalyst (£120) from the fabulous WSCC stand. New from the factory that's nearly a grands worth so I'm well happy.

Now for some courage to cut into my body and juggle the manifold in.

AAMOI the manifold is not in stock at WF and they are finding a new supplier so don't know when they will get any.

If you were dressed in that, we'd all see you rising to it.

I think that's the best Stoneleigh purchase so far.

Next thing to do, buy loads of tools, clear the garage and start a build thread.

No it's a genuine thing. My engine is so old that I still have a leaded head and have to put a lead additive in every time I fill up. I bought these from Spitfire Fuel Catalyst, supposed to last 10 years or 100,000 miles. Just drop them in the tank and forget.

OK thanks for that ,I also have a leaded head at least I presume it is as I got over six bottles when I bought the car. I read somewhere that the fuel additive was a waste of time so didnt use it all last year without any apparent issues, but my valves may be slowly dissolving without my knowledge. I also have a  'Spitfire' device which is a mysterious black cylinder in the coil lead which I presume guarantees substantial power benefits. I have never tried it as I now have a ignition ecu with coil pack.

They seem to do quite a lot of stuff to do with ignition systems, I picked up a leaflet at Stoneleigh. There's a website www.Spitfire Fuel Catalyst.co.uk that might explain what it is.
