OK, o/s/r makes sense, in that case don't worry about it.

 

Sounds like it'll be OK, use the brakes as much as possible on the way but give them time to cool. If there is a local jet wash clean the dust out and dry them off with a few gentle applications.

 

I think you've done as much as you can so it should be OK.
