Hello all, With a heavy heart - I am putting my Westfield SEiW Sport 220 Ecoboost up for sale - Q900VAB. This is solely due to the funding of a personal business of mine, alongside this I haven’t had too much opportunity to get it out of the garage. I purchased the vehicle through a former member and believe the car is well known and has been featured in a couple of magazines prior and was owned by Tim Reid. Since ownership, I have kept the vehicle the same - with regular maintanence. Recently back in February over to Northampton Motorsport for a full head to toe service alongside an MOT. It has been garaged since this period and covered in the garage. This is an absolute beast of a car with an amazing whistle of the turbo and wastegate make this car entertaining to drive and the sheer power can propel the lightweight car to high speed in seconds. At low RPM it can quietly pootle through villages with plenty of low down torque when you need to open it up. Originally a factory built limited edition (14 of 15) SEiW Sport featuring; independent suspension, wide body, detachable rear arches and floor mounted pedals. A registration, so easy to MOT with no emissions testing and no harder to insure than any other vehicle. The last owner owned the vehicle for 14 years prior to myself. Giving it great care and continually improving it. I took it on myself as something to simply enjoy with a hunger for something a little bit crazy! However unfortunately, no track days were had and time spent driving the car has been limited. There was a major rebuild to bring it up to date with a 16 Ecoboost engine (dual variable valve timing system, drive by wire throttle, Direct injection and turbocharged engine from a Fiesta ST180, as standard 220bhp on SCS Delta ECU but it can easily be increased and go up to 400bhp). Mazda N7 (MX5 Mk3) gearbox, AIM digital dash, full Siltech suspension set up including ARBs, micro adjusters, wide track. Big brake kit with bias adjustment, 3 piece image wheels. Lightweight alternatator, battery, bodywork and steering column. Quick release steering wheel, limited slip differential LSD, quick rack, lots of real carbon fibre including a number of customer parts which are extremely rare. The vehicle was weighed in at 584kg down from 740kg but should be a little less - I haven’t had it weighed recently. The previous owner of this really took care and attention to the build and you can feel it in the drive and see from the pictures. And mentioned prior the vehicle was featured in National Kit Car magazine and always gets positive attention wherever you go! Servicing has been done annually regardless of how few miles were driven. Please note the comments on the MOT records: - 1996-2005 = Pre DVLA online records but you can see what’s in the huge folder which will come with the car. - June 2006 = 9343 miles - June 2007 = 10,674 miles - June 2008 = unknown (not read by the MOT tester but 12,000 miles) - July 2009 = new Zetec engine installed at 14,151 miles with new odometer showing 0 miles. MOT shows 16 miles. DVLA informed. - July 2010 = 12,140 (MOT tester misread the odometer! Was actually 1,214 miles as confirmed by subsequent and previous years). - June 2011 = 24,842 miles (MOT tester misread the odometer! Was actually 2,482 miles as confirmed by previous and subsequent years). - July 2012 = 3236 miles - July 2013 = 3982 miles - July 2014 = 4904 miles - July 2015 = 5396 miles - August 2016 = 6214 miles - 2017 off road due to rebuild - 2018 off road due to rebuild - September 2019 - 3 miles due to new Ecoboost engine and Mazda gearbox. DVLA informed. - August 2020 = 382 miles - August 2021 = 1045 miles - 2022 = off road SORN (I believe) - March 2023 = 1508 miles - Vehicle purchased by myself in May 2023 It has now peaked over 2000 miles will need to confirm this and update the advert! However, there is a HUGE arch leaver of every receipt, drawing of wiring loom, pluming diagrams, and the rebuild is published for all to see on WSCC. The car was originally stored in a garage its entire life and had a dehumidifier running for the past 10 years. I have continued on with this since my ownership. Hello everyone . i m NIkos from Athens Greece. i bought a westfield from toybox and a tranporter move it to bristol to take the ship to come in greece . the problem is that in bristol port cant turn it on . its 1700 crossflow carbs . maybe they have not turn on the fuel pump . or they flow it with fuel . is any chance to be someone close and take a look ?monday has the car to load it in the ship and the only way its to start up . thanks for all the help

Brilliant place to visit. I would recommend Great Longstone or Little Longstone. In the middle of most things - Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Heights of Abraham…. Plus the glorious countryside.

Did not know that those are used in MX5 racing ? I have HS51 and HS52 on my road Westfield . Bought those as read somewhere that are designed for lightweight cars, was cheap, had really good results on tyrerewiew. I can see this year test looks even better : https://www.tyrereviews.com/Article/2024-Summer-Tyre-Market-Overview.htm (look at brake results on dry and wet) Feels in fact "sticky" from start even on cold days so the compound is on soft side, but on road did not had chance try to the limits . Did approx 4k km on them really like it . So far was lucky not to drive in wet , but looking at thread with lot deep groowes, I am quite sure will be ok.

It all depends on what it needs doing. Restoring one especially with old parts costs a lot. You could easily spend 5-6grand on one depending what needs doing. you often find you can spend more than you will get back but you cannot put a price on fun

How I love the Spring! Daffodils inexorably pushing their way through the soft soil to display their golden petals to the warming sun. The sickly sweet aroma of a half eaten, fluff covered Cadburys Cream Egg that has rolled under the sofa. The angry sound of snooze buttons being hit over and over as we mourn the loss of that precious hour of sleep. The happy sound of morning birdsong drowned out by next doors mower. The beautiful carpet of bluebells in many a secluded wood. The happy sight of the gov.uk website showing the car is no longer on SORN. The sound of industrious bee's buzzing around every blossom tree. The metallic clank of garage doors creaking open followed by the whirring of starter motors and fuel pumps awakening. The rhythmic tapping of fingers on keyboards accessing the WSCC Tech Forum trying to find out why the bl**** car won't start. Finally, the cough and splutter of a rough idle early on a Sunday morning to notify sleepy neighbours that Westfield season has truly started! Why not celebrate with friends new and old at the Clock Warehouse on Thursday evening!? We have lots on this year, with Kitfest in 2 weeks, Malvern in 9 weeks, the Sprint Series back at Curborough and Mallory in June plus our normal meets in the Peaks and local area. Hopefully the weather gods will play ball and we can get some cars out! As normal we will be upstairs from about 7pm. See you there!!!! Rob

This is very much dependent on which model of pre-lit it is either early aluminium bodied or the later GRP and the quality of the rebuild. bearing in mind that new/replacement parts for this car are unavailable I would suggest looking at past adverts of similar cars for sale to gauge value.

Actually that might qualify you 'cos from what I have seen, the accounts we want to investigate seem to have been prepared by some sort of malformed root vegetable... Thanks Andrew, I shall put them forwards to call up and discuss the requirements.

I've always used MSM Insurance. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive. I use them becasuse they have VAST experience insuring Caterhams, so when it comes to 7 style cars, they know their onions.

I was formerly a Forensic Botanist, in that I dissected people’s house plants to find out why they died. Before that I was a Chicken Whisperer, helping poultry farmers figure out why their hens wouldn’t lay eggs. I was also an Home Appliance Faith Healer. People would bring their vacuums, toasters, microwave ovens, etc to my travelling road shows, where I would lay hands on them to drive out the demons that possessed them.
