  1. Back home after a very moist trip home from Umberleigh. Grand day out, driving around Devon with the rest of the gang. Weather was kind during the day, but got bad for the trip home. This sky is that colour because the Crewkerne Street Fair is in town!

  2. As as seller I would be very reluctant to do this. if the potential buyer does have an accident resulting in a claim then I’d be looking at increased premiums on all my cars for the next few years.

  3. Hey 1-16 I’ve just brought a Seight on Friday and was looking at this one but couldn’t get hold of him. don’t give up on a V8 mate as I’m already in love with mine they are awesome.

  4. That may sound high compared to the cost of annual insurance but actually does seem quite reasonable to me, even when looking at the cost of temporary cover for an ordinary car. An inexperienced driver trying a rear wheel drive performance car for the first time is going to be a much higher risk to them compared to test drive in a Ford fiesta. if buying privately then I’ve always accepted that a passenger ride is probably the best I can expect together with a sit in the drivers seat trying the gears and pedals whist stationary.

  6. Well worth 26 minutes of your time. All 60s cars - Minis, Alfas, Galaxie 500s, a Barracuda and more all battling it out in slight rain with fantastic camera work. Great video. (Bonus: Christian Horner is a 💩 Mini driver 🤣) Enjoy!

  7. It's a little known fact that Richard Gere's father, Gottler, was a famous Swedish ventriloquist

  9. If you are serious about buying one soon take a policy out on the car, it's surprisingly cheap (normally) if that cars not the one swap insurance onto next one could be cheapest way to do it

  10. A good body shop can paint that to match, no problem. Don’t forget that a new nose cone will require new fasteners and installing them, whereas repairing the existing one eliminates that hassle.

  13. Does your tin top insurance cover it, or can you add the Westfield to it for a day?

  14. If you’re looking for advise it’s free, if your looking for parts it’s cheaper, I reckon I save £50 every couple of months so the £35 is money we’ll spent every 2 months.

  15. @Andrzej - Agree on the snow and lifespan. We had to replace one last year as the top failed, was about 7 years old. Cat attacks - leaping down onto carcoon from high fence, don't help.... the snow is a minor thing here in Southern England, it's a rare event, so children think brushing the snow off a carcoon is an exciting task..... For us, it's carcoon or pay for storage: at ~£600 for a carcoon vs £100+ per month for storage, the Carcoon pays for itself pretty quickly. Plus I don't have to drive to the storage site when I want to use the car.

  17. It’s an SEiGHT. A car you buy for the sounds, the smells, the torque, the grunt. An absolute weapon of a car. I’ve never looked back at mine and thought about things such as panel gaps. I’ve only looked back at it and thought - wow - that’s awesome!
