  3. There was some interesting driving techniques and styles after the cow episode, dodging the inevitable! Was the only time I wished for a windscreen over my aero screen…🤔

  4. Hi All, Just to let you know that Boftus posted this event with my blessing as he made a great job of organising our attendance last year. It was a great show and well worth a visit. We won't mention the drenching we got on the way home!

  5. Hi guys We did this last year and it was a great show. Lots of stuff going on (as it is a country fayre) and north of 1200 cars to oggle at https://kimboltoncountryfayre.com/ I am waiting for a booking code from the organisers so we can share a club stand. Date is Sunday 14th July. Earlybird ticket booking is £13.50, normal price £15. This includes entry for you and your passenger (if you have one) Some screenshots below of the site plan and club list from last year to give you all an idea of the show size, venue and # clubs attending. Please let me know your intrest in coming so i can get an idea of numbers so we have an area suitable to fit us in 👍

  7. Hello All, It's that time of the month again, the first monthly Black Country meet of the year is due to be held this Sunday. It's not Westfield weather so I expect it to be tin tops all around, though I know there are some very hardy types in the club. Hope to see a few of there for a chin wag and virtual tyre kick where we can discuss plans for the year ahead. Thanks Rhett 7pm, 4th February at the Dudley Arms, Himley. DY3 4LB.

  8. I did this run with my grandson Liam all those years ago and we had a fantastic time, driving some of the best roads in the Yorkshire Dales and Northhumberland towards Berwick-upon-Tweed. Nice to see some of the photos in this post especially with the one with Liam stood at the front of the group, sadly my V8 is going up for sale next month or I'd be very tempted to do it again.

  16. I’ve put it in the diary but can’t commit as 1st grandchild is due on the 11/7 and I am the hospital transport 🤪. We will see how it goes and come if I can. I don’t want to be around for the huffing and puffing so it might be a good excuse!!

  17. Don't worry, I may run two and I've opened it up to some of my work car club friends and the NWKCOG too. It could also spill over into March as well. I just have a silly grin on my face when presenting because it brings back great memories etc

  20. Bespoke driving footwear anyone? My wife crocheted these over the winter period, guess she took pity on me not getting out for a blast and just tinkering in the garage.
