Got my dates mixed up , had every intention of turning up but sadly thought it was next week. Hopefully make it next month. Enjoy Rob2 points

I’d have to commit the time, and get a trailer etc so if I did it would be instead of a euro trip in 2025… we will see, love to experience it2 points

Only because of where Iam based right in the corner of the south east near Dover. I don’t mind driving it but a trailer would be easier1 point

You don’t ‘need’ a trailer, yes it makes life a lot easier, but back in the day there were plenty of folks who drove to events in their Westfields!1 point

Unfortunately I've just joined a photography course which runs all Mon and Wed nights of Feb, so for me only the Tue in the list will do. Thanks.1 point

But first registered 1969 which was before Westfield were born. I believe that it was fairly common to use the donor registration in pre SVA days (awaits confirmation) and so it might be OK. But, as always, buyer beware!1 point

January 3rd, 2024 Spend: £16.60 Continuing with the side panel by bonding in the bonnet locating block And then trial fitted it all when cured January 14th, 2024 Spend: £48.00 Dreaded this moment a bit, but it's now time to fit some AeroCatches to replace the old bonnet locks. Decided against the lower position which would have covered up the two holes left by the old lock, but would have also mean some extensive cutting away of the bonnet locating blocks. Used Everbuild Stixall to bond it in. January 20th, 2024 Spend: £0.00 Fabricated a bracket from an old metal T plate and managed to position it such that it clears the side panel and sits on a metal plate underneath the bodywork. Did have to remove the VIN plate, but found a nice new location for that already. January 27th, 2024 Spend: £84.60 Used some vinyl wrap to tidy up the are where the bonnet fixing bracket sits and the side panel part that is covered by the detachable side panel. January 28th, 2024 Spend: £0.00 Using the laser level and a template from when the exhaust headers were fitted, I cut a hole in the side panel, just about big enough for the headers to pass through. Still need to enlarge it though as I can't remove the panel with the headers fitted. To be continued next month Last month: £ 5486.94 This month: £ 149.20 ----------+ Total: £ 5636.141 point

Won a raffle prize at this year’s awards dinner, a baseball cap with the new WSCC / Union Flag mixed logo, and an umbrella, which arrived safely this morning! While I was obviously pleased to win these prizes, I already have more umbrellas than I know what to do with, I figured it might just become a prize at my local area meet. However, when I opened it up, to my delight it turned out to be a rectangular one, perfect for covering the cockpit when parked during unexpected showers or for two people - nice! 😎👍 So a big thanks to @Nigel Trilk - Westfield Sportcars Ltd for my prizes and for sending them so quickly! Now I need to figure out a way to secure it to the handbrake lever so none of my fellow club members nicks it when my back is turned! 😬1 point

We met at Quackers cafe car park, Bagpuss had a white nose cone because the pink one is off for 😮 cosmetic repair, Dan bought his other car out which was only a TVR with a 5 litre Rover V8 engine👍, Jake in his lovely Tiger 🤩, Steve and Vikki had purchased their old Westfield back much to our delight because it was such a great car 👍and Billy quietly 😁 appeared in his Tesla. We went into the cafe for a warm and breakfast We set off down the access road out of Quackers, so not at speed, and Jake's car let go, bang, spin and into a fence post. It was shocking, on the public road it could have been a very nasty accident and all our sympathies go out to Jake. One of the bolts on the upright had sheared. Once Jake had arranged recovery and we thought that he was as ok as he could be after such an event, we carried on with our day, poor @Jakejmagee, we feel for you and if you need any help/advice then us/here/this forum is the place to ask for it. We took a good run out on a mixture of high ground with great views and some good driving roads, landing us right back at Bakewell and at Thornbridge Brewery where we went into The Tap Room. Car park at Thornbridge Brewery The beer flowed, some of it real stuff and some of it, myself included on Zero Five which is 0.5% strength, although it was ok, it just isn't the same and I would have a Jaipur Indian Pale Ale over it anyday. Cheers! The pizza is freshly made and you could tell, it was excellent. @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO not content with having Peak District hills and chocolate named after him, he also has his own beer, look at this 8.4% too! Mad, the man himself The driving, company and venues have all been excellent but we felt for Jake and we wish him well.1 point

Exactly right. Very simple and gives and extra dimension to our Championship. You have to beat not only WSCC competition but others as well. Only extra thing that might reward really well performing drivers is say 1 point extra for breaking the record? Any thoughts.1 point
