  1. Very big congratulations to long term WSCC Member & Competitor @pete g on winning the British Sprint Championship this year, in a hard fought battle he managed to stay just ahead of his nearest rival. A well deserved win, from Pete who learnt his craft in his Westfield and the Speed Series over many years before moving to single seaters and developing his Mygale Formula Ford into a very special car.

  4. It is nearly 3-months since I bought my first Westfield and I have to admit I have loved every minute of ownership. I’ve made some changes to the car and carried out some minor works already in the following order (I think!) Remove stick on number plate with small plate below front grille Replace front grille with a Westfield grille Westfield stick on badge to nose cone Fitted fuel tank breather pipework Rotated my exhaust tip to be 90 degrees to the road Lowered and centralised my Dash2 Pro Re-programmed the shift lights, low oil pressure and low fuel level warnings Refitted windscreen and fillet Replace starter motor & battery Starter motor heat shield Replace bonnet inc black grills Wheel change from 15x7 to 13x7 inc new wheel studs, spacers and rear wheel bearings & hubs Fitted rear diff breather and pipework Removed all Jubilee clips and replaced with fuel line specific clips The car has then gone on a carbon diet! Custom AJM Design exhaust surround AJM Design boot cover inc the grinding off and welding of the inertia seat belt bosses AJM Design rear diffuser NV Carbon mirror covers NV Carbon rear arch protectors Works to complete over the winter Fix the very small oil leak I have from my Raceline sump Investigate slightly rough idle Investigate the rotational vibration at 1500rpm (ish), might be nothing just amplified by being a kit car Investigate the change in noise when the clutch pedal is pressed vs depressed NV Carbon sill protectors Cargo net to footwells for storage Silicone seal around all NV carbon parts - I HATE this! Change seats / add orange piping to my current Westfield Race seats Orange piping to black carpets I have found the forum an invaluable encyclopaedia of knowledge. Thanks everyone for your help on my journey thus far, it really is most appreciated. Cheers, Al

  5. The hamburger menu on the top right has a 'mark site read' entry that might be close to what you want to do. D

  6. Don't know about a button but the 'read' function is set out in the 'Stream' options. This is how I have mine.

  13. HT leads replaced and took the new car out for a fill up ending in a spirited drive. I’m sure I’m preaching to the converted but these cars are immense. Starting to gain a bit of confidence in the car and the 888r’s and I haven’t enjoyed a drive this much in years. All the latest cars have been turbos and I’d forgotten how good an NA car is. First one I’ve had with throttle bodies…wow! Everything, handling acceleration, sound just brilliant. I’ll be out again up to Dartmoor tomorrow before the rubbish weather descends by the weekend. It’s made my mind up to get some more suitable tyres for the cooler weather and I’m thinking uniroyal rain sport 5s in 195/50/15, the 888s are 205. Didn’t really want to buy another set of wheels but I think it will be less hassle for me in the long run if I do. Demon tweeks seem to be the best value for wheel/tyre packages or does anyone have any better suggestions? A pic of my two, both great cars and a lot of fun but the Westy is way more fun. Wish I’d bought one years ago! Roll on tomorrow!
