  1. Thanks to the long weekend I’ve got the bracing welded to the top of the chassis. Whilst it probably looks a bit OTT for the job it’s also there to mount the steering rack and the upper wishbone mounts as else they’d hang off the edge of the chassis unsupported. With that all done I trial fitted the steering rack and column as I was a bit worried about the angle on the UJ, as it was it seems to work ok which is good news. I’ve also heard back from the laser cutters and they’ve found the missing bits from my order so those should be arriving tomorrow or Wednesday.

  3. We have gone for the easy option, for a mere 33 British pounds we have booked a bed for the night at the Travelodge, Cherwell Valley on junction 10 of the M40. We will of course look after the bacon butties until you all get there 😛 mmmm

  10. I've had another email today from Simeon, confirming the details for Saturday's open day. A much better put together email than before, which is good to see, and the suggestion that there will be bacon rolls is much appreciated!

  13. Following on from Russ's jump to the circuit and me dipping my toe last year, I have jumped on the circuit racing band wagon. I have the Close racing car Russ used at Oulton last year and had my first outing this weekend at Croft. for your viewing plesure Race 1 crap start and lost a load of places but made a few back up Race 2, lost places but what a blast even sending one past @TAFKARM
