  1. So this weekend (still heading home) saw me pick up a new kit, a frog eye replica a new era for me ? what about the 2 westies? At least 1 will be for sale after a holiday and a few tidy up / service jobs on Tommy. tbh I hadn’t seen this coming and while I still enjoy them , for a number of reasons it’s time. certainly the white one owes me nothing given the fun trouble free mikes and adventures and if I’m honest I hope he goes to an enthusiast to be used as none of my cars are, have or ever will be “show” cars

  2. I’ve not forgotten about this, it’s just there’s not much visible progress to show. I’ve reached the point of the engine bay wiring so other than crimping on lots of terminals and taping wires to various tubes to get the best route there’s nothing very exciting to look at and from a fleeting glance little change. I made up a small section of aluminium panel to mount the master switch so I could hold it in the right position to get cable lengths. The lower body will eventually need to be remade.

  4. As it's a replica, the purists won't be upset by a Hayabusa re-power. Or that V6 of yours.

  10. I've actually just upgraded his booster seat as my boy is quite short and needs a bit more protection in this Westfield compared to my other one. The older one is yours if you want to cover the postage. It's certainly nothing flash, but it works nicely.

  17. This morning 5 of us braved the changeable weather to visit Re:fuel (Malcolm & Dale in their Mini Van). We met up at Ilminster Services and after a spirited drive down the back roads of Somerset/Devon arrived just before 09:00 to be parked between an Aston Martin and two Bugattis by fellow WSSC member Colin @Haflingerman who was acting as parking attendant for the Crashbox Classic Car Club. Some photos of the Bugattis for interest. Return journey was hoods off as the rain had stopped.....
