It would be sufficient for me to avoid buying it. I would wonder why any honest, knowing and caring owner wouldn’t make the effort to sort it out. When I bought mine many moons ago, for some reason the V5 came back from Swansea showing the car had three seats - neat trick unless it’s got a side-facing rumble seat. I contacted the DVLA and got it sorted within a week.2 points

In early news….. 😉 19st 3 7/8lb this morning, over 6lbs lost last week. More than I’m aiming for on a weekly basis normally but the early pounds are normally easier to shift. Just been avoiding the snacking/chocolate/sweet things, and exercising a bit more (walking mainly) Will be great to be back under 19st again.2 points

@Rob Waldron Yes the luggage rack is still available ... Top fixings are 90cm (centre to centre) These are non adjustable but you could fabricate something to make this different if required. Bottom fixings are 80cm (centre to centre) These are currently not adjustable for width but it would be difficult to fabricate some brackets, fixings, etc., They are adjustable for height and again you could play around with fabricating if you need more. Total width of rack is 99cm at it's widest (where it would be closest to the driver) and 92cm at it's least widest (back of vehicle) Total depth is 25cm Hope that helps?1 point

Couple of small caveats with 4G/5G connections, especially for a "business*" user. First if the internet is used to share large files often and/or is used for a lot of streaming it could be possible to fall foul of the "fair use" policy that many of these OTA connections have. It is rare, but it is possible. I personally have dealt with this twice for customers and it's a colossal pain... Secondly there are plenty of deals out there for an internet connection without a landline but if there is a landline anyway, then I'd prefer it for the reliability of the connection even though the speed might be lower than 5G. A cable is much less likely to be affected by weather, competing signals and local cell tower congestion, although cell tower congestion is dependent on the exact location of the user, the and size of the local population. That's not to say 4G or 5G are unreliable, but Murphy's Law states that the moment you really need it to be reliable it'll turn to excrement... *Since the pandemic, "business" user has become a very blurred line with people working from home much more. However I am a BIG believer in playing fair. I have been able to work from home like most people but a recent change to my circumstances means I am now fully based at home for my work, essentially making my home my actual place of business. So I changed my connection from domestic to business. It 'costs a little bit more but there are benefits like a much reduced SLA when reporting faults, dedicated support if things do go wrong (not so far) guaranteed speed (hence why I measure my speed often as mentioned earlier) fixed IP address (very useful for a someone like me) and no fair use policy to worry about irrespective of how much of a battering I give the connection.1 point

Worth noting, Nikos wishes to import the car into the EU (Greece) A likely typo by the DVLA, however it's past numerous MOT's with this The erroneous Low Loader, description is at least prefixed with Westfield- perhaps the owner when it was registered, described the car as a low rider? Others posts of the forum suggest ADA is a normal chassis number prefix for early cars: The deeper question, is are the Greek authorities going to cause any problems when registering the car in Greece? due to this 'Low Loader' description?1 point

The de-icer at the ready in Quacker's Cafe car park Frosty so we waited a whole minute for Rob and Hedley to arrive before going to the 'warm' cafe 'Warm' is a relative measurement. The cafe was warm compared to a Westfield at 60mph but you could see your breath in it!! icy windows at the cafe The steam on Rob's coffee was a welcomed extra source of warmth We chose not to sit outside at Quacker's cafe 5 Westfield's, very impressive for a sub zero January day, hat's off to you unhinged lot White does make a lovely background don't you think Everyone came on the run out which I kept to the big main roads. Billy in the Tesla was kind enough to go on ahead and film us, thank you very much Billy. We headed up to Owler Bar...... and Surprise View..... in a circle back round past Chatsworth House where Hedley and Rob peeled off for home as we went in for lunch and cherry and almond scones It was good to see Andrew had washed his car before coming out today Parked at Chatsworth with Billy in the Tesla space age car, the sunshine came to visit for a moment Thanks for coming everyone, I can't believe you did! We may not be out next Sunday as I expect to be without a windscreen, it all depends on the glass company, have fun, stay off the ice and see you very sooooon xxxxx1 point
