  1. The Organisers of Stoneleigh (Grosvenor Shows) are currently wrapping up this years events before starting organisation of next years shows, Newark and now Malvern which replaces Stoneleigh as the 2023's main National Kit Car Show event. We will know more towards the back end of this year and will advise in due course ! but safe to say dates are confirmed as follows: Malvern – 3/4 June 2023 Newark – 22/23 July 2023 Please also note Stoneleigh is normally the time and date for WSCC AGM so this will now provisionally be moved to the Malvern show/date TBC. Thanks Marcus

  2. Amazingly it was a dry evening so I ventured out in the Westfield..... all the sane people came in "normal" cars as it was freezing! 😂 Fantastic turnout as usual despite the cold, with loads of chat and laughter. A big thanks to everyone for coming along 👏 The next meet is the Area Christmas meal on Saturday 3rd December. If you fancy coming along and haven't booked yet, please do so on our WSCC Derby & Notts Facebook page.

  4. Probably spent most of the day, with help from two other drivers, driving round Blyton at the track day this year (2022) and I have done two other road blatts; that's not a great deal and last year was even less; so with a heavy heart, it feels like time to move on as I'm just not using the car enough to justify keeping it (and keeping it in as good a condition as it deserves), other pressures on time and finances beckon too. I'd be looking for £11k for the car and £3k for the trailer or £12.5k for the lot - I will consider Member very near offers and can split. Not advertised anywhere else at this stage. Perfectly useable and reliable car, ready to go to a new home. Any questions please ask or call - all details are in the below link and repeated below, I can provide more detailed photos and video walk-round as needed. Located in Barnet, EN5. 6. A video of from the 'What Next?' channel on YouTube following Richard Hammond to his favourite place in the world, Buttermere. Whilst telling some stories of times he spent in this wonderful looking village, he mentions a time he came through the village with a couple of mates, Richard and Al on bikes, and a third friend, Chris, in a Westfield! I highly recommend giving the video a watch. It's made me want to get out, travel around and try to discover some of the hidden gems in the British Isles. This is Richard Hammond's Favourite Place in the World

  8. Many thanks for your responses. Interestingly, when I owned a C6 Corvette a few years ago the tax was not much over £200.
