  1. Hi, I collected my seiw this past Friday near Exeter, and I drove 2000km to my home. Almost 1500km in one day. No worries, all perfect!!

  3. I’m not coming if @Andy Westwood is coming as there would be no cake left!! Seriously thou it’s Father’s Day so my wishes are totally irrelevant. Been booked to see them so that I can be shown their holiday photos as they are just back from a Greek cruise. 🤨

  4. Who's dug you back up @Barnsley John ? 😉 Good to have you amongst us still! The weather, forecast isn't so good, but I don't get why people don't want to get out in their kits on a great run with @Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO I hope plenty turn up and a great time is had by all!

  5. Carbon zk nose Put some graft into this in the last 48 hours but the tooling is now complete! These are a mega style nose which have a deeper lower section to accommodate a oil cooler these fit in an identical way to a standard Zk nose Normally sketch with me Prepreg so light and strong this one in the picture has been clear coated but available uncoated for the more serious peddler who is looking to save every gram .

  7. Pair of 5.75" carbon headlight bowls (new never fitted). They were original high quality direct from Mick Cooper Made. £90 (plus carrage/postage) Perfect to replace your 'knackered rusty bowls' (re-using your original bezel)

  8. A quick and spirited drive round the Peak District this evening whilst it was warm and sunny. Stopped to take some photos above Chatsworth. I tried to get down by the house too but there was too much traffic for a good picture.

  9. I've decided to part with my spare set of post office red rear arches. I have been holding on to them in case I ever fancied wider wheels and the lovely "deep dish" look - but not really bothered any more (and I sold the 8" wheels anyway!) Before anyone asks - no I will absolutely NOT split the (rare as hen's teeth dipped in rocking horse poo) Carbon Arch protectors. They are siliconed on and just will not budge. I did attempt to remove them, but it started to look like it would damage either the protectors, arches or both in the process, so the idea was abandoned. You are of course welcome to buy them and give it a go - but good luck with that! A couple pics of them when they were on the car below. I'll put some fresh pics up over the weekend to show where they have holes in for the rear lights and to give a better idea of the condition. They are approx 280mm wide so a good 45-50mm wider than standard. I'm after £300 for the pair with arch protectors - collection preferred. If I have to post, it will be likely be well over £50 with insurance and I will need to buy a box on top of any postage cost as I've nothing big enough lying around.

  23. Incidentally, for scratches that aren't too deep, and may polish out, cerium oxide is the pukka stuff for the job. Though you may need a machine polisher of some sort, (a Dremme/equivalent might just do it.)

  24. The new glass was, or should normally have been Pilkingtons Classics department. But it is absolutely correct, though I don't know if the factory ever did it, that those wanting full e-marked automotive glass usually seem to get them cut from Defender screens.

  28. Yes, definitely recommended. 3 years on and after a lot of use and abuse still looking good, many scratches, but nothing that has got through the surface. It is not the cheapest option but is well worth it. Photo below was taken after the 2nd top coat went down. It's not so shiny now.

  36. OK, we seem to have reached a point, where there isn't much real news, plenty of speculation and a lot of raised emotions. To be absolutely clear; various posts, innocently made, some just trying to be helpful and giving examples of things that happened elsewhere, were seen by and reacted to by the company handling Westfield Sports Cars current situation. As a result, Fridays collection day that had been arranged for a few people has been cancelled. Those posts have now been hidden, I know, I know, stable door and all that, and this thread locked. If and when we get more solid information regarding the Administration process we will keep you up to date in fresh threads. I suspect it may be a little while. Bearing in mind the "damage" we have accidentally and unwittingly inflicted on those fellow club members affected by this change of heart on Friday's collection, we would ask once again, until things are clearer and public statements have been made by the companies involved, for the sake of those customers of the factory, both Club members and none members, can we please refrain from starting up more threads to speculate, and in instances, without meaning to, inflame the situation.

  40. I know who the current supplier is there was talk of Poland for bodywork and chassis manufacture but that was in the pipeline and didnt happen before they went under Its a very sad situation i know many people at the factory very well and i can imagine they are in a state of shock as some have working there 20 plus years and I'm sure its had a massive impact on everybody and i wish them all the best in whatever they go onto do . I would like too think the Westfield brand will continue one way or another but it could take sometime to get things sorted out. Isnt it strange how things happen Chris Smith sadly passed away and just over 6 months the brand goes into administration.

  41. This is incredible that companies that could easily be classed as competitors are so willing to assist in anyway possible as opposed to saying "tough, don't care". Just goes to show that we really are part of a small but unique group of enthusiasts keen to help others out! Shame the rest of the world wasn't the same🤔 I take my hat of to you @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairmanand the others involved in the background rallying around. Amazing work👍

  43. Might increase the mileage limit on my policy. 😊 Mot on 08.05.2022. 218 miles since the last mot in 2018. On second thoughts 3,000 might be enough. 🤔 Is there an award for the least miles?
