Only one reasonable pic of the stand

Can't make the next couple if weeks as I'm off down the grand canyon on a rubber ring.

A few of us are heading to Curborough tomorrow morning for the Breakfast Club meet for a couple of hours. It starts at 830 and ends around 1130. We normally aim for 9-930 arrival. No on track action, just a social to mooch around the motors (normally a good few classics and kits), have a bacon buttie and have a blat through the lanes on the way home 👍

I think some of us Midlands "rabble" might attend for at least one of the days (we've been talking about it on our our little chat group). If we arrange a trip, we will post on here 👍 Looking at some of the comments on other forums, it appears the cost of a trade stand is significantly cheaper than at Stoneleigh so we may see more businesses attending.... Good in one way, but bad for the wallet! 😂

We aren’t officially doing the show this year as a Club, the way we do Stoneleigh, but as a few areas have expressed interest in going, we may be able to get our own parking area. This is a quick poll to try and get an idea of numbers/size needed.

I plan on leaving the Black Isle at 6.30, sadly it’ll be weather dependant but the forecast is reasonable

oops sorry Julie I have only just seen this and we are home now, the phone and 4g was a bit flaky where we were, we did our catching up when we were out and about on higher ground 🙄

I'm trying to sort something out at the moment, but won't know till the week after next, (they're all guns blazing on their biggest event of the year next week). Just to stress again, though, we won't have an official "full" presence, even if we do get some group parking, this year, as it's just a fact-finding visit, so no actual stand, volunteers, displays and so on. If any AO's bring their Area flags, we may be able to do something with those, but it will be very much on an adhoc basis, this time around.

Booked in for Sunday , it seems you can only book for 1 day only and no w/e pass available , also miffed you now have to "pay and display " even if it is 1/2 price .

Put my request in for Sunday. Notice the format has changed a bit, option for weekend pass is not available. So it’s days only. I didn’t try but guess you could select both Sat and Sun. Always a great event. Andy

No. Not at Whole Club level, that is. I plan to go to have a bit of a recce and see what it’s like so we can consider for next year, and some of our Areas may want to arrange a run there etc. but at the moment, it’s all a bit of an unknown.

Sorry, just need to add that I hope we don’t see the follow up photos - if he’s a real cat, he’d be flexible enough to lick his own ball joints and tailpipe.

Thanks also to all the members new and old that turn up and make the WSCC pitch, the place to be. Great to catch up with old friends, meet new ones and meet virtual members face to face @Yorkshire_Pudding @Geezergs @Hadz @RJRWesty @IainCameron for the first time. I still can't believe @Ali Jones - Retentions Officer sold me some brand new carbon cycle wings for a tenner! Thanks @Paul Aspden (MoFast) for such a generous donation to a great charity. Let's do it all again!
