  6. Yes, this is definitely on as the weather is forecast fair. Meet at Hulme End at 10am as the original post. @Labrat we will be finishing at Quackers around midday.

  7. Final update (I hope!). Took the inspection camera to the innards and they are just 3 perforated (hollow) pipes all the way through... so no catalytic converters inside. Also measured the link pipe, and they are 2" inside diameter at the point where they go onto the 4-1 collector. @Boftus PM me if you want them

  10. A massive difference in weather when compared to the sprint in October! After 1 timed run on the Saturday I didn’t see the point of continuing. Started asking dad why he decided to get a Westfield and not an Elise!

  13. Just a reminder, it's our monthly meet this Thursday, now the nights have drawn in, and the weather is on the turn, time to move inside the Golden Pheasant to plot and scheme the winter upgrades, and think of places to go and things to do when the days lengthen again!

  14. Thanks to the organizers for the fact that you can and the idea to drive classic British cars. Super itinerary for the trip, loved it. Hopefully, more pandemics will not interfere with the organization of such events. Made a lot of discoveries for me in the car museum. Will go on many more trips, want to drive different models of cars. Perhaps I will buy a classic car. I would like to have more of these trips throughout Europe. Thank you all good luck.

  18. Cheap and cheerful roller door for me, 55mm slats with 2 key fobs and a internal wall switch. All for £1295 fitted. As mentioned before, anything is better than a draughty up and over door and our bedroom is above the garage which is noticbly warmer than before.

  20. I know - you just jump in the car head towards the pit exit and not even have to slow down as they just waved you through! Really enjoyed it - and couldn't believe our luck with the weather ☀️

  21. just as gary said, we all had to learn what to do over time. i think the most applicable thing to say is , do not think that any question is stupid, too basic etc. there are only stupid answers, never stupid questions. me for instance, started on push bikes as a kid, moving on to motorbikes, then eventually cars, taking all to bits and on many occasion having to get the bus to work because i could not get the repair to work. just have a go, and ask questions......
