I've just had a look at this, and yes, the old one is incompatible with the current version of the boardroom. The new version is actually the same as the old version, but renamed to Community Map and updated to work with this and newer versions of the boardroom. Costwise, it is $40 initial, and $10 renewal per year. I've saved more on Amazon S3 account storage in the past month than this, so I will request that the Committee approves of this purchase.3 points

Being a farmer myself I found it absolutely brilliant, I have sheep and can relate to what he says to a tee, he has shown farming to the public in a good way, he does need a smaller tractor for little jobs😃2 points

The Stoneleigh show is the 28th and 29th August. After last year’s show was cancelled, this is an opportunity to get together, meet old friends and enjoy the best kit car show in the country. Our stand will be as good as ever, with some slight changes. Our marquee supplier has gone out of business, so we will have a smaller, more affordable marquee. Tea and coffee and cake will still be provided, but no hog roast this year. Overnight camping is available as always. Westfield Sports Cars will have a stand in one of the halls, always good to have a chat with the factory and they usually bring along parts at discounted prices, just as a temptation. So the date for your diary is 28th and 29th August, see you there. John.1 point

As far as I know it’s been there since the regulations were first introduced. If I have time at some point I’ll dig out the actual legislation and the Statutory Instrument rather than just the summary guidance on the website.1 point

If you run a heater, disconnect the heater and put the sensor in the end of a short piece of rubber hose that would normally go to the heater and block the other pipe off with a bolt or similar and jubilee clip1 point

Whoo Hoo!! Just got an email from Currys...I've 'won' the opportunity to buy a PS5 in their lottery. Scooted straight over to my local branch and got my name down. I entered their 'lottery' a couple of months ago when it became clear stocks weren't likely too improve any time soon. I've seen folk b***hing about the fact you have to buy a bundle, but the offerings are all pretty reasonable I think - machine + extra controller, machine + a game or machine + PS Plus voucher. Choice of disc or disc-less machines. Of course, I went for Ratchet & Clank, but in a cruel piece of torture, the chap let me take the game away with me although I'll have to wait up to 3 weeks after the lottery close date of 13th before I get the actual machine to play it on...the horror!! Hope the cabinet is big enough for the thing.1 point

The link here explains everything you should need to know about re-registering the car in the historic tax class. https://www.gov.uk/historic-vehicles To be exempt from tax the car should be first registered before 1981. If your V5 says 1980 then it sounds like it was incorrectly registered at the time if the car was built in the 1990’s. depending on who checks your application at the DVLA and how good their records are I’d expect an application for a Westfield to be a bit of a red flag to them since the first kits weren’t sold by Chris Smith until 1985/86. MoT exemption is separate to this and it is your responsibility to ensure you meet the relevant criteria. IIRC kit cars generally can’t be exempt unless they are over 40 years old and not substantially modified from this in the last 30years.1 point

Oooo, that's @AndrewBClarke, @aeg and @Andy Westwood, the 3 Andy's are coming, does that mean we must have the Great British CAKE off? Most car clubs have a bit of rivalry over who has the biggest bhp, here in the Peak District this lot get jealous over who has the biggest slice of cake. Apparently you have the advantage if your name is Andy. So will it be Andy Westwood, who is the favourite, aeg who is the young pretender or will ABC sneak in under the radar to claim the title?1 point

What a great picture! Your son looks so cute in the car, and wonderful to see the next generation involved! Welcome, as the others have said! We look forward to seeing and hearing more about your adventure with the Westfield. As others have said, please ask all the questions you want to, there’s no limit! Keep in mind that there’s often not really a “standard specification”, although some combinations of parts are more common that others. Photos of the car showing any parts related to questions you’re asking about will help massively, as members can then help you confirm just what you have.1 point
