  1. New build ZK Westfield registered 1.10.20. in my name as a Westfield Sports. IVA in September 2020 with non Cat 1993 2.0 Zetec passed first time. The car is as new with 125 miles built from a new old stock Westfield Kit using mainly new and reconditioned parts. Build record with original receipts and Ford dating letter for the engine on file. The engine is a rebuilt 2.0 Zetec engine with mild porting. The throttle bodies were built by DanST and the ecu in an Omex 600 with their loom which has been programmed for IVA pass on 1993 non cat engine. Fitted to a Type 9 standard gearbox with 1.8 Zetec flywheel and new clutch, the diff is 7" Sierra all of which run very well. The alternator is the Burton kit to suit this engine and a new light weight starter motor plus new water pump and new cam belt. A high capacity Coolex Rad with Spal fan on standard Westfield controls. New full size battery to ensure no issues re IVA. Brakes are standard Ford type all new this year with EBC front pads and discs plus standard pads and discs on rear no issues re brake test at IVA. Steering all new again no issues re self centring for test. Shocks are new AVO with 300lbs springs at front and 185 at rear. Fuel system all new with Goodridge Hardine tubing fitted to factory guide lines and factory brake line kit. New wiring loom with IVA spec lighting including fog light. Wheels were new with kit 5 spoke Revolution with 195 50 15 Yoko's. Seats are Westfield sport. Car is set up for bumpy roads as I live in a country lane. The car is still in IVA trim and really is a blank canvas. I have decided to go Old School re my Westfield ownership and currently restoring my 1989 SE hence this sale. More details on file just ask. £10995 OBO.

  2. All the neighbours have lights up but I resisted until today. get lights out of loft and try them, all working. Get ladder out spend over an hour hanging them up and switch on again and half of them now not working. All LED so not the usual test bulb malarky. Spend next half an hour ripping them down and throwing in the bin, season of goodwill?

  4. So after getting no response from a radiator specialist that was recommended to me (despite me talking in person to their MD they didn't bother replying to the emails I sent that they had requested!) I noticed @Westfield Parts Dept were doing a Black Friday discount. I also needed some other parts so I called them yesterday morning and placed an order. Some of the parts have 8+ week lead times (due to COVID and/or normal manufacturing lead times). However some of the parts they had in stock and I was told they'd be couriered next week due to how busy they were (I'm assuming because of the deal). Imagine my surprise when a large package arrived in the post today with some shiny new parts!!! So a big shout out to @Westfield Parts Dept ... thank you for the quick response and I have my fingers crossed the items on order arrive quickly as well 🤞

  5. Oh well, you'll know for next year! I agree not all Black Friday sales are that good. camelcamelcamel.com shows amazon prices across the year. Agree, they've missed an opportunity, however for things unique to the factory, they've got a captive audience to some extent. That's great to read!

  6. Massive thumbs up from me. I have always found @Patrick Costello and the @Westfield Parts Dept team really helpful and keen to advise. I ordered my s2000 hose kit and it was delivered today! Super impressed with the support guys. Thanks as always. Andy

  7. I also had great service when ordering a half-hood. The website said 3-4 weeks for delivery, but in fact, it came in 2 days. BUT.....I ordered this the day before I received the email about the sale starting the following day. I paid full price for the sake of a couple of days. Which is quite annoying. As a marketing ploy, sending an email to a client offering a big discount on an item they bought the day before is not smart. So, a big thumbs up to them for their very prompt service. But a big thumbs down for the marketing technique, and the fact that when I called to discuss the order there was no mention of the imminent sale.

  8. Took advantage of the cold dry weather to take the Westfield out shopping for emergency supplies (how did we run out of tea!). Very quiet on the damp slippery roads, and I had forgotten quite how easily the wind rips through a wooly hat.

  9. MOT time this morning. That's another pass. Question is now, "do I SORN, or not".

  10. Until we have the final results I will remain suspicious of who to blame. Is it the people who conducted the test, those who allegedly cheated it, or those who approve it's use. Or indeed those who didn't look at evacuation and fire fighting in a highrise like this. It seems a catalogue of error, or criminality, where all share some blame for the devastation it caused. What makes it even worse is that the delay in finding out the truth is astounding, every day it drags on justice for those who died is not delivered. I agree we need to see people serving jail time, not as revenge but as a warning to others that lives matter more than money
