Exactly this scum needs stopping it's not nice and it could be a member's car they use for the adverts etc. I've called e-bay and spent a long time trying to explain the repeated users appearing with great feedback, history etc and many cars the same for sale with the same tactic used with a picture with different e-mails in each time. They couldn't / wouldn't explain how they are so easily able to keep setting up all the same adverts with new accounts etc. I've got a case number so will use this to report further occurences.

Also fabricated a couple of parts that were missing from the boxes; A clevis for the rear suspension as I only had 3 of the 4 needed and a pair of upper wishbones.

All will be revealed. Don't want to tempt fate until the deal is done lol but it's definitely a westy

Continuing the theme of refurbishing parts I dug out the box with the pedals in for a look and set about stripping them down for a good clean up. like so many of the the parts they’re covered rust and a thick covering of body shop dust and overspray from storage. half hour on each pedal with the wire wheel got them back top bare metal. Lovely to see the braided joints. then a couple of coats of tough satin black to finish.

Only these 2 at the moment(the bottom one is with 15 “ wheels and small number plate needed to let bonnet stand unaided ) how people open them with a full size plate I don’t know ,I’ve taken the number plate off for now incase I need to open the bonnet whilst out and about.The wheel and tyre combo I bought has slightly smaller tyres on the front ,185,60,13 ,so when they’re replaced I can sort the bonnet issue out by fitting a 205,60,13 (matching the rear ) and a minor suspension tweak .
