  6. Here's some advanced notice. The provisional dates are 26-28 July 2019 which will be confirmed in early December, once the FIA has met to ratify the F1 calendar for 2019. Tickets will be available as before as a package with two adult tickets and one infield display pass for the WSCC area. I've asked for slightly more space than last year but, in any event, the space allocated will be based on cars registered when booking opens and our club code is generated. I've requested a parade lap to celebrate the 20th year of the FW400. Tickets will go on sale in early November, here are provisional car club prices. Super Early Bird Car Club Display Packages Prices from early November until 31st December 2018 Friday £43 Saturday £72 Sunday £60 2-Day Fri/Sat £82 2-Day Sat/Sun £94 3-Day Weekend £99 Early Bird Car Club Display Packages Available 1st January until 31st March 2019 Friday £45 Saturday £75 Sunday £62 2-Day Fri/Sat £92 2-Day Sat/Sun £101 3-Day Weekend £102 Standard Car Club Display Packages Available 1st April until 31st May 2019 Friday £52 Saturday £79 Sunday £67 2-Day Fri/Sat £102 2-Day Sat/Sun £112 3-Day Weekend £120 I'll post more information as it comes through.

  7. After much consideration, I came to the conclusion that I was drinking too much alcohol. The stats, the do gooders, the doctors, all say this is not good, for your liver, for your heart, and some unmentionable parts which I can't bring up. I have taken the decision to have two alcohol free days, Monday and Tuesday each week. Tank the lord it's wednnnessdday todayy. I'll drink to that.

  8. Hi all, I am Bjørnar (plural for Bear). I am 51, live in Ålesund on the (north) west coast. I just got my kit a couple of days ago, but since the rebuilding of my garage is taking FOREVER, the kit is stored in a shipping container at the moment. Hope to have a garage up in a month or so, then another month to do epoxy, setting up the workshop and getting organised. Hope to have the car built by spring. I am not getting winter tires for it, so I will be waiting until spring before finishing and registering. My garage burnt in March while I was in Rio. Inside was a Geländewagen, two racebikes, a Husaberg enduro bike and remnants of a bankrupt Honda workshop I had bought a few years ago. Fully kitted garage with lift, central heater, large compressor, sandblaster, paint booth etc. The good thing is that I am getting a new garage from my insurance, the bad being that for "unregistered motor vehicles and their accessories" there was a CAP of about GBP 3.000. I am about 30 grand in the hole after finding that out. Oh well, life goes on... I am sort of a Mercedes nut, have a 1992 190e 2.6 in Spain, a B250electric, a B180cdi (2012), an A180cdi (2004) and my primary car a 2010 C63 estate. Oh, and a 2008 Crafter 17 cubic for my two race bikes. As mentioned, I am still waiting for my new garage, so I will be loitering and collecting info until then! See ya!

  10. That’ll be a Royal Air Force Puma HC Mk2 Support Helicopter. Probably checking the road signs for directions.... @Lyonspride yes, if they are not spinning and it is above you...run! Though most photos make it look like they are not, just shutter speed faster than rotors!

  17. Welcome. Myself and a couple of pals usually get up to Knockhill at least once a year. I absolutely love the circuit! As for a suitable car, my own car has a modest, by Westfield standards, 170bhp and tbh, a little more power for the drag up the hill would be nice.. but for me the best bit of KH is the bit that connects the end of the main straight to the start of the main straight! Hope you get a car sorted, and see you there next year.
