  2. It's her 'emergency' bun technique. She always keeps an extra bun in hand, then there's an excuse to have seconds, thirds etc!

  3. Julie did try and explain why her bun had two sausages and Glen's none, but it wasn't very convincing i thinks she's seen the look of disbelief on our faces at this point!

  6. So I gather you are sealing the colour in but the cream can still get through to the leather. Took me 2 weeks of eves & weekends to renovate all the leather of an XJ6, hands ached for weeks after. I did a leather and trim 'Workshop' at the Browns Lane Jaguar factory many moons ago, learnt a lot form the experts, all for free as well.

  10. Well, according to my betters on this forum, there are plenty of really sporty diesels to choose from... And don't argue with the powers that be, or you will find your personal details and address being edited...

  18. Asked by whom? And for what reason? MotCO, I wouldn't post it. In their position I wouldn't want to be judged by Youtube users based on 30 seconds of my life that I would likely regret once I'd had the opportunity to reflect. People are stupid, me included, every so often. Sometimes we're really stupid. Every time I have been I have been glad it wasn't recorded for posterity.

  20. Ah, the infamous double hot dog for Julie! note how poor Glen just gets a bun and some sauce! There's a runway down there somewhere, banking as we descend..

  22. We went for a bbq, that Michael expertly cooked. There was plenty to go round and Glen and I decided we could not possibly eat any more, so we would be polite and share a hot dog. I somehow returned with 2 hotdogs, oops, but they we delicious. Martyn and Sue had their flight, followed by Andy and Becky. Ian had to go, just leaving Dave and it would be a shame for him to go alone, so I bagged another flight, champion. Power station The airport Dave had spotted the Air Ambulance helicopter on the ground with 2 ambulances. Then we had to look for another plane, which we found to our right, at the end of the wing. Not an impostor this week, but the real Dave Eastwood. Landing for the second time That just leaves me to say thank you, again, I can't thank you enough Andrew, you are an absolute star.

  23. Go and put the kettle on, there are a lot of pictures. Many, many thanks to Andrew and family for flights, food, taxi rides to the club house, everything. It had been a truly marvellous day.We met Andrew, who delights in doing the panorama dance, in Ashbourne. We had a little photo shoot before the flight. Then it was time to fly. There are 3 screens to display, the engine data, the pilot information (speed, height etc) and the map. We went over Blithfield Reservoir, we drove along the road that cuts right across it last week on Trevor's run. Past the JCB factory Past Alton Towers. We drove past all these last week Horsey time St Georges Park football centre Coming in to land Out of the plane to a nice surprise, Dave and Ian had joined us. Charlotte's colouring skills It's was not over yet
