  2. Cracking run out to Lake Vyrnwy today, nine Westfields met at the Tudor Rose. We had one brake down, like all good mates we left Martin in the middle of no where waiting for the AA man while the rest of us went for breakfast.

  4. Regarding the T-shirts and the stickers, they are in the process of being produced and sent to Panda. The delay was primarily down to having to wait until Speed Series entry closed before knowing how many stickers were needed and especially how many T-shirts of what particular sizes were required. Despite Speed Series entry being available and heavily promoted since December, 25% of the entries didn't take place until the final fortnight and even after the deadline. I think next year entry may have to be closed earlier, maybe end of February, just to avoid these problems for poor Panda.

  6. 1996 Westfield Seiw factory built Car Only for sale as planning on doing a few events so the plan is to buy a car that is ready to go . Ducted v8 nose , standard uncut bonnet , fixed arch kit type bodywork in Westfield racing green . Boot box tonneau cover and full roof , car is completely standard apart from a couple of tasteful mods below. Carbon fibre mirror covers and sill guards , new suede steering wheel. Revolution four spokes with hardly hardly worn in good condition falken falken tyres 185 front 205 rears . 1600cvh which actually goes really well when you get on the second choke of the twin webers. New sump last year oil is still clean. £5250.00 or very near offer The are a couple of niggles that reflect the low price, the diff is a bit clunky, there is a replacement one included with the car which came to me from a well known member so it's condition can be assured.Second gear synchro is slightly worn . The rear suspension arms were noted to be slightly corroded and there is a complete resr set included too.Bodywork is in excellent condition but has been lacquered from new and there are a couple of small lifts of laquer....... however this is an extremely cheap car ! 9. I had a similar issue a couple of weeks ago, Andrew. I was merrily driving along and my speedo suddenly showed a very low speed, and then went down to nought. It sorted itself out and just returned to normal after a stop and a restart. My LED reading is very hit and miss all winter too, that's kit cars for you. So now you have an excuse to pop out tomorrow and see if it is still the same.

  11. Hi, I've had this, i think its due to moisture build up during the 'off season'. Leave your side lights on at every opportunity and there heat from the bulbs will help to dry it out, failing that, a trick often recommended here is to try removing it, submerging it in rice (dry not wet) and putting it in your airing cupboard for a while.

  15. Mad up today got a good manifold at last fitted the webers but found the engine was a tiny bit high. Changed the rubber mount and success after I connected the coil it was alive, with the Lotus throttle arm and a bracket I will have to make that will sort out the under carb linkage £10 in parts and much head scratching.
