  1. Glen and I will be at the Fox and Grapes for 10am, along with Martyn and Sue. Please can we stop at Bilbrough Filling Station on the A64?

  3. If you do go to Revent for your turbo kit. There's a long leas time on parts. So if you need it soon order it now. Last time I spoke to him he wasn't taking any more orders until March. But the kit is good quality

  4. Dom's correct the front shocks on an SDV are longer than a "standard modular" westfield. front anti-roll bar choices are either Sport Turbo ST3 or Playskool widetrack. the standard rear ARB that mounts above the diff will not fit, but It has been suggested that if you have the new sport turbo derrived chassis (which i don't) this has ARb mounts below the fuel tank and therefore could accept the Sport Turbo ST3 rear ARB, but you may still need to look at how the drop links mount to the lower wishbones. I'd reccomend talking to Fraser at Blink Motorsport about engines. he's only. 15 minutes down the road from you.

  5. Hi Ian, i have been consulting for 4 years now, and I agree with all the comments. I initially started under an umbrella company which is by far the easiest way you do give them a small %. After a couple of years I then moved to ltd. I have been fortunate with a large network I have been able to source my own work. I have colleagues who work the management consultancies and all I would say is they own you. They have been sent to place at short notice for short contracts, of course you don't have to worry about sourcing work and if you need income then it ticks that box but work life balance goes completely out the window. Sometimes a quick browse of job adverts and a cover letter offering an interim solution can work well. Alternatively I'm not sure what sort of project management you have but speaking to vendors of potential products can help to almost offer a "supply teacher" or short term solution to their resourcing needs. Good luck

  8. Merry Christmas everyone. Just had a lovely drive out for a couple of hours. The roads where clear and the weather its lovely for a winters day. Poor Buttercup had forgotten what it is like to be out and about. Hope you all have a great day.

  9. Society's weird fascination with the best-selling fictional novel of all time brought me quiet roads. The wake of storm Barbara brought me warm weather and wet roads. I bought myself a tank of Shell's finest. Best Westy presents you can get
