  1. One of the bigger jobs I'd been putting off until now was the fabrication of the engine cradle. In reality its a fairly basic design but I'd been leaving ordering the parts from the laser cutters until i was absolutely certain that everything would fit as intended. Back from the laser cutters and this is what it looks like mocked up before welding.

  6. The MDA event is a round of the British Sprint guys and Caterhams are going as well so I don't think it all be good value for money with limited runs available. If its the 2 lapper then it will be even slower and the top 10 run offs ( 2 runs each ) takes bl**** ages.

  8. Had another excellent day north of the border yesterday. Bit of a damp start but had slicks on the car all day.. dry from mid morning. Nice to meet up with Matt again, plus broken V8 guy? (forgot your name.. ) I've uploaded some pics here: http://s133.photobucket.com/user/dixonandrew/library/Knockhill%209th%20Aug%202015?sort=2&page=1 A selection..

  9. Sorry to be right about it being interference I'd rather trust Autodata than Google TBH. There's always a risk of piston or big end damage with something like this as well. Not always instantly obvious either, but more often that not, after on of these, if only the head is repaired, other problems soon follow. Blacktop or Silvertop replacement as first option for ease and expense.

  11. A wide track one would do. All the mounting hardware will be the same, The only difference will be the width of the bar which could have a section cut out in the middle and sleeved and re-welded to reduce its width to suit Edited to say wide track instead of wide body
