  1. I won't be paying to watch it either. Doesn't necessarily mean I'm not going to watch it though.

  2. Sorry, thought it would be obvious, but you need to use the url in an img tag [img=https://dl.dropbox.com/s/2vfd33bjggh3xmb/2015-07-21%2022.30.29.jpg?dl=0]

  3. Today the badge has been removed. It took a dremel with a diamond cutting wheel to cut through the welds and a persuader, otherwise known as a pair of pliers, to wiggle it about a bit. It was a bit like pulling teeth. Job done It is with the laser cutters now and they will be ready for collection in around a week.

  4. I've had prime for about 8 months now, I got a years subscription foc from Amazon as goodwill for a major error on their part, it's absolutely brilliant & I will be paying the £79 to extend it again. Free delivery on any prime product pays for itself, add to that it's all next day delivery including Saturday AND Sunday (!), and you get the prime movies and tv shows, and now prime music too! Definitely worth it IMO.

  5. I have the 170 Superb 4x4 estate and an Octavia 4x4 estate and both are great. Octavia is cheaper to run but not as much space with 5 up, but the Superb is huge, comfortable and pretty quick for a big car. Both tow well too. Luke.

  6. I think it's called the crash pad if you search the Westfield parts website. Edit: It is, here it is http://parts-shop.westfield-sportscars.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=599

  7. Why pay for it when you have the internet? You never know, repeated flogging might revive the dead horse known as TG.

  9. Late to the party as usual... Let's draw an official line on this once and for all please - I agree totally with Dave's answer. If WSC are good with it, then I'm good with it. Further, Julie is one of the best people in this club and this is a great and kind offer she's made - I won't hear a word said about her that is anything but kind. And no, this is not a blank cheque for anyone else in the club to do the same thing - the procedure is simplicity itself: CONTACT THE COMMITTEE FIRST in order to protect YOU and the members. We are here to work with you.

  10. I left Sunny Manchester in sunshine of course, 10 miles from Skipton the roads were damp, 5 miles from Skipton the roads were soaking and so were we It was great to see such a good turnout. 1 Yorkshireman and 9 Lancastrians And so to the journey home, we set off in rain, passed through showers of varying intensity, and as I pulled onto my drive the flippin' heavens opened So to sum, it up, if the weather forecast had been correct we wouldn't have gone but we did and had some fun in great company, and it was a good shakedown for 'our' forthcoming European trip in just over 2 weeks

  11. Westie under the 4-post lift along with the other weekend sibling. Daily hack is a lot more mundane, a Skoda Octavia vRS estate now with 150k on the clock. Still going strong and perfect for lugging the mountain bikes to the hills.

  12. Neither character assessment is relevant though. It was her estate to deal with as she saw fit.

  13. Wow, what a reaction, we are all awake then. Tomorrow I am removing my Westfield badge, taking it to the company and placing an order for 5. I will put a photo of the badge on here and update this in a week or so when the job is done. Keep Calm and Carry On.

  15. I class it as my daily, however I use pedal power to get me to and from work. Doing my bit for the environment and also, so that I can eat and drink what I want Oh and here's the pic!

  16. The daily drive is a Honda Stepwagon (a.k.a. 'the dog car' as I’m usually ferrying the dogs around in it)... The weekend drive is an XKR... R

  17. After moving to the middle east, it's £20 for a full tank of fuel so why not bimble about in a 4.2L supercharged V8 with 420bhp as your daily driver?
